Position. Nice light airy room. Very good breakfast.

Plumbing. Almost impossible to set a constant shower temperature. Leisure facility changing rooms very small ( two people a challenge ) and in need of smartening up.

Beautiful location and lovely hotel. Loved the grounds and the jacuzzi, though it was rather strange having to walk so far to the sauna and stem room, running through the hotel in our towels was not my idea of fun!! There was a young waiter from Manchester who we would like to be acknowledged. He was a fantastic server and made our vending very comfortable, we didn't get his name but please let him know we were very pleased with his hospitality. We shall be returning in the future without a doubt. The four poster bed was gorgeous. Thank you Pendly Manor for a memorable stay :)

The distance between the pool and the sauna/ steam room. Could have done with more milk/sugar/coffee in the room.

Friendly staff Good facilities - we enjoyed the pool Bed exceptionally comfortable The breakfasts The one evening meal we had Ideal location for us to combine visiting family with visiting local attractions, including Bletchley Park, College nature reserve, cricket match - Hertfordshire playing Cumberland in a 3 day Minor Counties match

Shower a bit antiquated Difficult to shut the bedroom door quietly

Staff good and helpful, Location and grounds wonderful. Food fixed menu good value, wines reasonably priced. Spa pool nice but again tired old facilities in changing room. I would return but with lower expectations and would not pay full price.

Sauna and Steam functional but very poorly located via a cold 'tunnel'.Small issue pre-booked and asked for bathrobe which were not in room.

The room was large with plenty of storage space.

The cooked buffet breakfast was poor. Too long in the storage containers. Food was hard and not hot enough. Poor restaurant service. More training needed. The whole place has a faded and worn out atmosphere.

The play. The grounds The facilities - pool, gym, steam room, outside seating to enjoy the sunshine Afternoon tea in the Rose Garden Staff very accommodating, though abrupt on occasions

The dinner - very ordinary for the price. Rooms are comfortable but tired and faded. Shower very fiddly to find the right temperature

Friendly staff Nice large room Comfy bed Good facilities Good breakfast with plenty of choice

It was difficult to shut some of the doors quietly so there was quite a lot of noise from doors banging when people were going to their rooms

Shakespere bar excellent space and great views. Lovely grounds perfect wedding venue. Great peacocks... Great reception area, with customer service

No air con anywhere in hotel made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Unlucky as it was a really hot weekend. Also in the grounds was an area of rubbish quite large that was in full view from hotel window.

    Location, Historical bulding

The old dirty carpet in the bedroom, wood old floor would be perfect. The poor pool and plastic outdoor chairs. A little renewal could give to the place a big added value.

Lovely building in beautiful grounds. Breakfast in the conservatory watching the peacocks strutt around was a great start to the day. Nice little pool and jacuzzi with showers and plenty of fresh towels available. Access from the pool on to the sun terrace was fabulous during the recent good weather (July 2014). Only ate breakfast at the hotel but food was hot, tasty and plentiful.

Deco is perhaps a little tired and, some may say, in need of modernisation but I feel it added character. However, I booked a room with a four poster bed and was disappointed that it was not 'dressed'. Breakfast staff were slow to offer tea/coffee/toast etc for the table

Staff were really excellent; helpful, interested., Grounds delightful. Leisure facilities. Room service very good..

As you expect from a hotel of this age, the rooms were a bit tired, and no aircon. Fans provided in the rooms though and the windows opened.
