I liked the Manor because the location was good for me, the facilities was what I wanted. The staff of the hotel were very good. They were both polite and helpful. It was very clean and comfortable for an old building and the grounds were beautiful. It was a very enjoyable stay for me. Although the staff were very good I would not recommend the Restaurant. The food was awful. The menu was too specialised. Although the food from the kitchen for room service was good the food for the restaurant was not. I would recommend you to stay at the hotel but eat your evening meals out.

We thought the building and grounds were very attractive. It was a relaxing venue and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the variety of eating possibilities very good. The staf were all very friendly and most willing to please. The carpet in our area of the hotel was a little threadbare and the passage between the gym and swimming pool was not ideal.

Charming old building and for the price we paid, good value. Rooms were large (we had a suite) and clean Place is getting tired in places and in need of a refurb, pool and spa are ok but don't expect luxury End of the day you get what you pay for

We got married at Pendley Manor 2 years ago so I booked a suite for our anniversary. The staff are incredibly friendly, the hotel is very convenient drive from London and it is very peaceful. Bad pillows.

Very good breakfast to set you up for the day It was a nice location but had a certain shabbiness about it especially the bathroom We didn't really have long enough to use the spa facilities and the day offer was not available on our stay. Dinner was very costly

The staff were friendly and the service was attenative. The afternoon tea, dinner menu and breakfast were all very nice. Room comfortable, spa facilities good. Well priced compared to other similar locations. Overall a great stay Only the lemon souffle in the evening, didn't taste the lemon!

The charm and politeness of the staff, the quietness of the room, the spa and pool, the ambience of the bar. It felt like a haven of peace and sanity-often hard to find in many hotels. My husband and I will come back and walk part of the Ridgeway, staying in Pendley Manor. My room, (217), was a little bit dark and without a view.

The hotel was charming and in well kept gardens. The staff were very friendly and relaxed. The room was large enough and with attractive furniture which suited the age of the building. We had one dinner in the hotel and we chose the set menu and it was excellent. We had a pedicure( man) and a facial ( lady); they were good. The total cost was a very pleasant suprise ! Highly recomdended.

Comfortable, enjoyable venue. Staff were very attentive. Only thing I would say is that the shower in the bedroom was not vey powerful.

Good food, nice quiet location and grounds. Easy parking. Spa was disappointing. Good pool and jucuzzi, but the sauna and steam room were in a separate area down steps and along a service corridor. The bedroom was 'tired' and wallpaper was torn in one area. Needed redecorating and recarpeting.

The location of the hotel was amazing, Considering we only live around 25 minutes away and just wanted a nice short break away from home without treking out too far. However, It seemed like we were miles away! It was so tranquil and peaceful and the room was more than we could have expected. Very luxurious and comfortable. From the minute we arrived the staff we very helpful and courteous. Overall a lovely experience and I have already recommended the hotel and will definitely be staying there on a regular basis for nice short getaways! May be a little up date here and there, but generally a lovely building with a nice warm friendly feel.

What a beautiful location in fantastic grounds. The peacocks roaming freely were a delight and I loved the fact that there was a conceige at the hotel, which seems to have been forgotten about in some hotels. Everything was right when we checked in and the staff were very nice. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I had had for a long while. Drinks at the bar very expensive and not worth having. £10 for 2 drinks is extortionate!! The rooms do need updating. Although the size of the rooms is fab and my 3 hyear old daughter had her own double bed but the rooms need coming into the 21st century and having flat screen tv's etc. the rooms just need to be re-decorated and tidying up.
