Old Cross Hotel I set the centre of St David’s, on Cross Square. This hotel features a restaurant, lounge and a bar. Each room at Old Cross Hotel has traditional décor.

The Grove is situated in beautiful grounds near St. David’s Cathedral. The hotel has an acre of walled gardens and a restaurant and bar for drinks and dining.

Everything - facilities, room, toiletries, honesty bar, tv room location, staff, hospitality and last but not least breakfast mmmm !!
Friendly staff, great breakfast, great facilities, gorgeous rooms
Only thing, walking back through the wood in pitch black in the evening.
The most beautiful place to stay with the most wonderful staff. We will definitely be returning
The whole short stay experience
Ed greeted us like old friends and made us very welcome. There is no bar but access to a wine list whci, in keeping with everything else, is very good quality. You are very much left to your own devices, which is nice. The atmosphere is relaxed and soothing - not surprising as it used to be retreat - and the breakfast is fantastic. The building and the decor is just amazing. My husband can't wrap his head around the bar issue but I loved it.
The only down side is that there is no restaurant or bar - it's a 10 minute walk into St David's which isn't too bad, but can be a little trying after a very good meal in Cwtch! Won't put me off though.
The effort made by the staff to pay every attention to our comfort and needs. Excellent communication skills.
The décor was a bit heavy - leather and suede.
We liked the serene atmosphere.
Arranged the stay as a 60th birthday gift for my bestfriend. The hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate. All staff couldn't have been more helpful, suggesting places to visit and eat, even phoning restaurants and booking for us. Breakfast was the best any of us have ever had, rooms clean and beautiful. Would most definitely stay again hopefully a longer visit next time.
Amazing location, excellent service and top class accommodation.
The modern and tasteful décor and beautiful gardens just outside St Davids town
We had no dislikes at all during our short stay
Helpful Staff Quality of the up to date decor Location Modern feel of the place
Lack of a dining room
Location, great breakfast, pleasant staff.
just about everything. superb facilities, bathroom, wooden and soft touch drawers etc, suede type wall covering, free courtesy bar in fridge, what more could one ask. This is only a minute detail
noisy bedroom above "Valley" guests using the toilet in the night woke us up. A very small point which in no way affected our opinion of a superb hotel
every thing Excellent
Beautiful hotel Excellent staff, breakfast and comfort
Not enough electric sockets Lack of chairs in bedroom
tranquil setting privacy of the coach house good breakfast
not enough drawer space in coach house bedroom
The best place I've ever stayed at. Can't wait to go back.
Nothing at all
very tasteful decor , high quality room furniture, beautiful art work. Very quiet, very well located near town but far enough to be also in the countryside. Complimentary drinks and nibbles. Good size bed.
bedroom door didn't function properly, breakfast could have been better for 5 stars. We felt the bikes for hire were not road worthy as the breaks were dodgy. Overall ambience was impersonal and corporate.
Just spent three days in the beautiful hotel. The hotel is of a very high standard with an high quality finish. Staff friendly and helpful.
It can be a bit noisy due to wooden floors throughout.
Being able to walk into St. David's and back from the hotel but based in such a quiet setting in beautiful countryside.
The cooked breakfast wasn't hot enough - served on cold plates.
Great location, friendly, helpful staff, good food.
we had a large double room roomy and bright met and offered coffees at check in free mini bar excellent breakfast
Our visit was made exceptional by the attention given to us by Iria.
Having to crawl on hands and knees to use the plug points for the Hair Dryer etc. Lack of storage shelving for our personal toiletries in the Bathroom/ Shower room although there was ample room to fit some shelving.
* Superb, tranquil location - yet 5 minutes walk to St David's Cathedral; * Lavabread for breakfast was a first; * Excellent WiFi; * Charming staff * Access to the ancient "carreg" stones in the grounds - a bit mystical on a quiet and sparkling summer morning;
An option for dinner in hotel would be good - but understand not viable with small number of rooms available.
The location was great. Just outside the city of St.Davids but 30 secs drive to the centre. Staff were lovely and the hotel/room decor was gorgeous. We liked the complimentary mini-bar and the excellent daily service. Room was really well appointed.
Room could have been a little bigger. Two chairs would have been nice as one person was always sitting on the bed (there was only one). Breakfast was a bit slow.
