The Grove is situated in beautiful grounds near St. David’s Cathedral. The hotel has an acre of walled gardens and a restaurant and bar for drinks and dining.

Old Cross Hotel I set the centre of St David’s, on Cross Square. This hotel features a restaurant, lounge and a bar. Each room at Old Cross Hotel has traditional décor.
Score from 160 reviews Good
Situated in the heart of rural mid Pembrokeshire, this hotel has a long established reputation for excellent cuisine and service and has an AA Rosette for Good Food.

The entire experience.
Having to leave.
Pleasant and helpful staff Very clean, spacious and comfortable room Great location
I loved if here. Amazing rooms. Fabulous location and great staff
Young staff at breakfast were attentive and friendly, but very professional. Breakfast was delicious.
The Drawing Room in the lodge was rather sparse and impersonal.
Big room and comfy bed. Great shower and good breakfast. St David's is lovely and really good meal at Cwtch.
Little bit clinical and lacking personality. We tend to like quirkier more homely places.
The tranquillity. It's a convent, walkable distance from St. David's without being in the city. Friendliness of the staff.
If I have to find anything wrong it's that the décor is pretty undistinguishable from anywhere else in the country. You can't fault the quality though.
Quality of furnishings Professional service Attention to detail Quiet location but close enough to walk into St David's town centre.
Everything - facilities, room, toiletries, honesty bar, tv room location, staff, hospitality and last but not least breakfast mmmm !!
Friendly staff, great breakfast, great facilities, gorgeous rooms
Only thing, walking back through the wood in pitch black in the evening.
The most beautiful place to stay with the most wonderful staff. We will definitely be returning
The whole short stay experience
Ed greeted us like old friends and made us very welcome. There is no bar but access to a wine list whci, in keeping with everything else, is very good quality. You are very much left to your own devices, which is nice. The atmosphere is relaxed and soothing - not surprising as it used to be retreat - and the breakfast is fantastic. The building and the decor is just amazing. My husband can't wrap his head around the bar issue but I loved it.
The only down side is that there is no restaurant or bar - it's a 10 minute walk into St David's which isn't too bad, but can be a little trying after a very good meal in Cwtch! Won't put me off though.
The effort made by the staff to pay every attention to our comfort and needs. Excellent communication skills.
The décor was a bit heavy - leather and suede.
We liked the serene atmosphere.
Arranged the stay as a 60th birthday gift for my bestfriend. The hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate. All staff couldn't have been more helpful, suggesting places to visit and eat, even phoning restaurants and booking for us. Breakfast was the best any of us have ever had, rooms clean and beautiful. Would most definitely stay again hopefully a longer visit next time.
Amazing location, excellent service and top class accommodation.
The modern and tasteful décor and beautiful gardens just outside St Davids town
We had no dislikes at all during our short stay
Helpful Staff Quality of the up to date decor Location Modern feel of the place
Lack of a dining room
Location, great breakfast, pleasant staff.
just about everything. superb facilities, bathroom, wooden and soft touch drawers etc, suede type wall covering, free courtesy bar in fridge, what more could one ask. This is only a minute detail
noisy bedroom above "Valley" guests using the toilet in the night woke us up. A very small point which in no way affected our opinion of a superb hotel
every thing Excellent
Beautiful hotel Excellent staff, breakfast and comfort
Not enough electric sockets Lack of chairs in bedroom
tranquil setting privacy of the coach house good breakfast
not enough drawer space in coach house bedroom
The best place I've ever stayed at. Can't wait to go back.
