Staff were amazing, polite and helpful. Breakfast was well displayed. Rooms were very clean. Location was walking distance
WiFi was very poor for a modern hotel. Rooms were really hot, air-con did not work well at all. Lack of storage space. Local area was 'rough' Limited options for breakfast Expensive room for what it was Expensive breakfast with lack of service (Self service buffet)
Great location Nice bathroom
Didn't sleep a wink for 4 nights!
Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast! Location was good for access to city centre. Room was clean, free wifi access a bonus. Bathroom was clean and had nice complimentary toiletries.
A couple of more pillows or cushions would have been nice. A faulty smoke alarm (?) woke us up at night but it was dealt with promptly. Restaurant a bit on the pricey side, but decent food.
Pool table great bar and staff, well presented room.
Very friendly great for all ages and a very trendy atmosphere. Great staff even let me keep my car in the car park the next day so we could do some shopping at the bullring shopping centre. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody.
Facilities, food and staff where all good. The location was well situated for what we needed.
Doors being banged of a night time causing disturbed sleep.
Central location, nice modern room, friendly staff.
Too noisy at night, no instruction a on how to contact reception and no instructions if an iron was needed. But otherwise a great stay.
Very nice and helpful staff Free films
Great location within walking distance of Mailbox, Bullring and New Street station. Nice bar area with friendly staff, would defiantly recommend.
I liked the energy of the place, there's a very laid back, chilled vibe, staff are friendly and welcoming. There's one in particular can't remember her name but she served me Chamomile Suki Tea! Great smile!
I found out the day we were checking out that the had playstation and a nice first floor area. Could communicate your facilities upon arrival a little better.
Pleasant staff, interesting decor, handy for The Mailbox shopping dining complex and a superb breakfast spread.
Just the bed seemed a little skinny.
Everything was perfect
Choose this hotel because of its central location. We were going to the NIA which was within walking distance and also close to Birmingham New Street Station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Liked the quirkyness of bar and restuarant areas but best of all was the fantastic breakfast!
Wasteland areas outside the hotel. Bed not very comfortable (but we were told the rooms are due to be refurbished)
All of it
All of it
A bigger bed needed
Excellent querky hotel with pool table in bar. Close to rail station, great food
Hotel was allright and comfortable. Breakfast was very good
The location of the hotel. It seems to be in a shabby area
Very very nice hotel. Excellent staff.
The bar, restaurant, atmosphere, breakfast, communal areas decor
Location wasn't great at night time in terms of feeling safe but was central.
Central location, clean room and simple decor.
Room small and lack movement. Next door is a car washer buisness and they pretty much work 7 days. If you like Bollywood music then there you go free music as soon you open the window.
Everything.really good location.room was just right good tv air con bed and bathroom.very clean.no disappointments.
Parking.car park beneath the hotel was abit costy.we had to park on this dodgy road.but it was ok.i was abit worried at first.but its at your own risk.
Approx 10 min walk from New Street and 5 min walk to Bullring and shops on High Street.A 20min walk to canal with pubs and v close to restaurants.V enjoyable stay in a well placed hotel.Staff v helpful and friendly.
This fitted the purpose for myself and my girlfriend perfectly. Quite quirky, very modern, friendly staff and great check out policy (3pm). Only thing is it's a little distance from the bars. Definitely recommend.
Distance from town
Goid points: Good hotel , fab breakfast, very funky lounge bar, funky eating area. Great staff during breakfast .
Bad points: coffee machine didn't give enough and had to be topped up too many times. Car parking needs improvements! There was Too many obstacles in way near drop off area leaving minimum room to get out so that needs improved ASAP otherwise a great hotel.
It's in a great location Nice bar Rooms are clean
The area is run down and you would not park your car outside overnight as there was glass everywhere from cars that had at one time or another been broken into. The car park was always full and a space cannot be reserved and so you have to park at the Mailbox for £16 per night (discounted). The rooms are a little like student accommodation. The bar is also hideously expensive, London prices.
