Lovely room Friendly staff Nice breakfast Nice location
Poor network for mobiles.
The location was ideal as we were attending a wedding at the castle across the road. The room was comfortable and very nicely decorated. Everything was very clean and the people were very welcoming, knowledgable, and helpful. Could not recommend this place enough to anybody looking to stay in the area.
Location to wedding reception venue across the road
Told that other guests had wardrobes full of clothes in their rooms! Very difficult to get ahold of anyone leading up to stay to confirm booking - finally day before someone rang back.
Beautiful scenery, great for local walks and short distance to stunning beaches in the Gower.
Vastly over priced for what we received.
It's managed by teenagers who didn't know anything about the reservation. When we arrived at 9 pm the room wasn't read and the place and the children were dirty and without any adult.
Very laid back place to stay. Great!
Staff were so friendly couldn't do enough! Very clean Breakfast superb All round fantastic!!!!
Lovely B&B, nice friendly staff. Stayed for two nights to attend a wedding at Craig y Nos castle. Only a very short walk to the castle, perfect location surrounded by beautiful countryside. Would highly recommend.
A very warm welcome. Delicious breakfast. Very friendly staff. Lovely setting. Very relaxed.
Lovely room with excellent facilities Friendly staff and good breakfast. Excellent location, especially as we were guests at a wedding in the castle opposite.
Could have done with some blinds on the roof windows to block out the early morning light.
Very friendly would help in away they could would go back and stay in the morning
The staff, location, rooms and breakfast were fantastic plusses for this place. We absolutely loved our stay and the area has a lot to offer for the exploration enthusiast. The Wi-fi was not very good, but in general the network signal in the area was quite poor so this should not count as a minus. My partner and son participated in the Bear Grylls 24h survival course at Pontneddfechan and Pentre Riding Stables it only a short drive from there which was perfect as well! I definitely highly recommend this place.
We were made very welcome and were very well looked after. If you are attending a wedding in the castle stay here instead, the rooms are much nicer and half the price!
Having to come home!
This is a beautifully situated b&b. the staff very friendly and tended to my every need. Kirsty was very friendly and couldn't do enough. I had an excellent nights sleep in a lovely room with a quality breakfast in morning. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.!
Can't honestly fault it!
The B&B was lovely (gorgeous breakfast) and perfectly located but we went there for the horse riding which far and away exceeded our expectations. Kirsty was an amazing host and took us on some incredible rides. I highly recommend Pentre Riding Stables.
Nothing. It was great.
Relaxed access to the house as I was there for two nights. Two pubs nearby with good food.
The dog kennels behind the B&B with noisy barking dogs. Two cats were also screeching and fighting on a couple of occasions. Weak internet connection.
Quant space and people to enjoy the park.
Limited parking and tight space in the room. The castle across the street may be a positive for some, but since we were visiting the dark sky park it was a bit of a light pollution burden.
great location, quiet, friendly staff , breakfast good
tv didn't work no instructions not enough sockets so needed to move kettle. there was a trouser press but iron and ironing board would have been good
Room was lovely. Nice and clean.
Breakfast was terrible. Felt like we didn't exist to the server. No friendly greeting, no explanation of options nor asked if we wanted white or brown toast. Expected farm produce, but sausages were awful. Couldn't eat them. Kennels behind room. Dogs barking and crying all night. No mention of this anywhere.
Convenient for purpose. Owner extremely helpful.
Initial appearance - room and property looked ok
no blinds/curtains on windows therefore daylight pouring in from sunrise. Beds hard. Very poor quality bedding, eg polyester duvet, pillows and cases. Unable to open the windows because of the loud and ongoing noises outside from dogs barking, cats screaming and the road noises. Nobody around all evening and no response to bell. cupboard doors had fallen off and were propped in the opening. owners belongings in the cupboards. Overall worst b & b I have ever stayed in.
Easy to find, friendly staff, room was very pleasant small on suite bathroom, good shower, plenty of towels and tea and coffee well furnished room which was clean and tidy. Excellent coffee for breakfast, with plenty of toast.
Light switch outside room a little awkward to operate as couldn't switch light off in the room.
The views , food was lovely plenty of choice
Found room cold in morning, switches for lights outside room, TVdididn't work
Great stay with really friendly people. The family were able to go riding which they all enjoyed, made even better as our trip was very last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The room was very comfortable and spacious for two adults and two children. Both kids had proper beds which other establishments often fail to provide in family rooms. Next door is Craig nos castle park which is ideal for stargazing due to the amazing dark sky.
