Lovely food, very helpful friendly staff. Super swimming pool.

My room! Was really old and tired, horrible plastic curtains and a red covered window. The carpet was not very clean and it was all a bit shabby!

The food and service was excellent.

The room we were allocated felt cramped and claustrofobic no space to move round; could hardly get in the door. We have stayed with you many times and had much better rooms; dissapointed this time.

Everything, from the moment we arrived untill we left the staff were very friendly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay truly memorable. The food in the restauraunt was of a very high standard. The bedroom was always very clean as was the whole hotel.

Staff in dining room not well trained, ie serving , pouring drinks, calling guests dear. Having to wait for a table for breakfast when tables already laid up for lunch

Good location, quiet, large rooms.

Of the many places we stayed on a cycling trip, this one was the most pretentious, yet was the only one that asked us to carry our bicycles up to our room. The room was very large, so it was no problem, but seemed odd. Also, the restaurant gave a show of snooty upscale (dress code, snooty waiters) that was unnecessary for the clientele that was frequently in T shirts with children.

Location was perfect. Great friendly atmosphere.

The fact that we had to ask for a member of staff to attend the bar every time we wanted a drink. Also had to ask to be seated at breakfast, no one around so stood looking silly. when we did get a table we had to ask for more coffee and then didn't get milk with it so had to ask again! small things I know but memorable.

The hotel was excellent particularly the friendly staff.

The location of Redruth was satisfactory for what we wanted to do, but we do not feel that Redruth itself has anything to offer. We expected it would be like this.

Lack of lighting on the drive leading to the hotel. Not every visitor is in a car.

Friendly, helpful staff, lovely food, comfortable room, well organised, nothing any trouble.We stayed for two nights for a family reunion/ anniversary party. Everything was great only found the price of the drinks expensive, £9.25 for a pint of lager and a glass of wine. Otherwise the staff were great and the accomodation was excellent, lovely room and bathroom and really good service. Would return if in the area again.

The staff were all very friendly, the appearance of the hotel public rooms was good and the standard of food very good.

The décor of the rooms was terrible - like something out of the 70s but without the kitsch appeal. Lino on the bathroom floor took me right back - but not where I wanted to be! Although the restaurant food was good it was also all a bit 70s too and ott with the heavy menu folders and the room decoration. Also felt £25 for a 3 course Sunday roast a bit steep and shame no 1/2 course option for the roast.

The restaurant was excellent. Gorgeous environment and menu great, food was gorgeous.

Noisey. Very noisey. Didnt sleeep well on either night. We had ground floor room and all night had upstairs room squeaky loud floor boards.also there are alot of functions weddings etc so noise from disco etc til midnight. Im still waiting for the manager to get in touch to discuss.

The food was very good and the dinning room was very pleasant. The sitting room was very nice, a good place to sit and have a pre-dinner drink. The staff were friendly and quite helpful.

I booked a twin room for myself and friend for a birthday present. We were shown to a room with a double bed which could not be turned into two so we had to move to another room with twin beds. Not as nice as first one. I splept in single which was very uncomfortable.

This is luxury on a budget. eclectic, fun, beautiful furnishings and grounds. Comfy beds, lots of good pillows and full made to order English breakfast in bed! Full bath with tub, really good room service and menu. Free parking and wi-if. Spa, gym, lovely restaurant, phone in room. Lots of little extra appointments not expected for the price. Lovely staff at every level.

The staff was outstanding the location excellent, food was fantastic but the magestic setting, the building itself Is lovely, Immaculately, clean. Big rooms, eclectic and historical,come back we did and will again. Excellent wifi and Internet. Not a complaint , but for a sevral day stay, mini fridge in the garden suites would be lovely

The location, we were there for a family party but it felt like a place you could really relax.

The food, sorry but did not like the breakfast at all although there was a varied menu, would also have been good if staff had told us where everything was, cerals etc and to help ourselves ,the room we had was a bit dated.

Everything about the hotel from finding it through our stay and the restaurant undersells itself,not cheap but excellant fare
