Holiday Inn Peterborough West  

Had a brief stay, but an enjoyable one, could,nt find much worth complaining about.

It felt upbeat on arrival. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was of a high standard.

Just one thing - unfortunately the central heating pipes made a clanking noise about every 5 seconds throughout the night and it was hard to switch off from it and get into a sound sleep. A shame because the room itself was lovely.

I liked the design of the hotel, and the style of the rooms, and the niceness of the staff.

The front entrance was warm and inviting. The food was good. Its location is perfect for getting into town or country - good access to motorways.

We requested soya milk which was not fresh and curdled when put into tea. The front desk staff could have been friendlier however they were all very busy.

The breakfast was wonderful and the room was very quiet. Despite a party downstairs and coachloads of guests leaving at a time, we heard very little from it.

Hotel is "tired". The tv in our room was very old and very small. We have a bigger screen on our laptop computer! This was a so called "Executive Room". Also there was only one dressing gown & one pair of slippers, although reception did supply these when we drew their attention to it

Easy quick check inn with efficient & informative staff on reception. Decent facilities & very clean.

Good location for my needs and very clean one of the nicest hotels I've used

The only thing I can fault with the hotel is the food pricing.I Think the over pricing on all foods will limit you to how many clients to actually use the resteraunt facilities.

Nice clean, modern Hotel with friendly, helpful staff

Food from Room service was terrible pizza burnt and chicken salad tasted of strong fish, staff who served were very nice but food awful would never order room service again. They did deduct from our bill after we complained but it was not a good experience

Hotel in quiet location, clean rooms, polite and helpful staff, good breakfast, ample secure parking we were unable to use the facilities at the hotel this time but have always enjoyed them in other holiday inns

As a dedicated smoking area is provided it would have been nice if the groupe of smokers at the front entrance had been directed to it.

Visting friends in Longthorpe so just slept in hotel, only negative UHTmilk awful.Wish you had a few smoking rooms, smokers pay the same as non smokers but we don't have the same comforts, and it is quite easy to errase a smoking smell.
