The hotel was close enough to Peterborough city centre to be able to get in and out very easily. On both mornings arriving at breakfast to be greeted by the "wait to be seated sign" and no hotel staff being present to do the seating! |

ease of access off a busy motorway, proximity to the East of England Showgrounds where our event was taking place and the reason for our visit. The leisure facilties were welcome after an exausting day out and about. Bar staff were in a bit of a flap on the night of our arrival - however its fair to say that a big event was taking place on the night ie face of ESP Peterborough, and probably caused service to be a bit slow and scatty. |

At least we got extra duvets in our rooms. I had ordered two twin rooms but we got two doublerooms instead. I had ordered in May. We were four friends. I also asked if they could fix the lock in the window and something in the bathroom. Nothing happened. It was also too much noise during the night. Our window was near the entrance. |

The breakfast experience rescued our stay, perhaps if there was someone around we could have used the leisure facilities as they looked good. On the evening we would have liked to have watched match of the day on b b c one , alas there was too much interference , i do accept that sometime there are technical issues that are out of the hotels control, but the response from the opps manager was bordering rudeness,i asked if we could perhaps be moved to another one of their properties and he just laughed in my face.If this is the attitude taken by holiday inn managers then i will not be staying again. |

Excellent staff -very helpful. The welcome was good and the room was spotless. As the hotel was fully booked - many of the bookings were groups - we were unable to get a table in the retaurant for dinner. The bar food was overpriced and decidedly poor and we were forced to eat in an area that was far from clean. |

I did not like the breakfast arrangements, by the time you make your own toast!! make your own tea/coffee!! Wait for the breakfast trays to be re filled as they had run out and only one person trying to do this - my breakfast was COLD!! |

Excellent food and mostly very nice staff The price! It was the only hotel in the area with a gym but £120, despite the great food, was really quite a lot for a mid week stay |

We had a power cut in our room (227) at 1.20 in the morning but the night staff were on the case and gave us lights again within 5 minutes, also I forgot to bring the toothbrushes & paste these, along with the firm pillows I asked for, were in the room by the time returned after our night out |

The room was clean and very comfortable. It was nicely furnished and the lighting made it feel cosy. We were not impressed with the breakfast facilities. Food was dry and overheated, also I had to queue for the coffee machine. No trays provided so we had to make several trips from the table to the food hall |
