Friendly, helpful staff Clean, comfortable bedroom Excellent hot chocolate!
Location of the hotel
clean and fresh; good food in bar; lots of breakfast food; comfortable bed.
bathroom fan didn't switch off; limited draught beer choice in bar.
excellent breakfast and the room was clean
room is small and the pictures on the website are misleading
Apart from snotty receptionist it was ok
Receptionist was awfull she unhelpful made me feel like second class citersan . She shouted across reception o your on the 80 pound rate . Sorry I run quite a big firm and would not not stay here again
We stayed there for our wedding anniversary. They decorated the bed with a heart shape in rose petals and also a card from the staff.
did not stop as we had an emergency told hotel and said could i cancel and was told that because i had pre paid no refund was allowed i will never stay in a holiday inn again and will think twice about using booking.com again
The fact that the leisure centre didn't open until 7.30am on weekends, when it opened at 6.30am during the week.
My time spent at the hotel was quite short as I was for out for most of my stay at an ice hockey tournament. However, although it was a Saturday night, it was very quiet and peaceful and I had a brilliant nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and well maintained. I didn't have time to take advantage of the leisure facilities so unfortunately can't comment on that aspect.
I would have liked an option to check out at midday on a Sunday.
Very clean and spacious. Lovely staff.
Restaurant prices, but there is a lovely golf club with pub grub just a 2 minute walk.
lovely breakfast, good choices for evening meals in the restaurant, helpful staff and the leisure centre was a bonus after a days work.
easy access to the road to Peterborough and surrounding area. easy to find on satnav.
didn't stay long enough to use the pool but it looked very inviting. the tea at breakfast was not very hot, but the breakfast itself was good.
Staff pleasant and helpful, room most comfortable and clean, food excellent, only problem we had was finding hotel after coming off A1.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Clean comfortable room and en suite . Small problems addressed with no fuss. Good breakfast to start the day. Leisure facilities.
Room over car park near road noise of traffic. They charge for wifi unless signed up on loyalty scheme.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff efficient.
There was nothing to dislike.
Easy to get to and high standard of facilities
Some noise from wedding revellers (a Saturday in July) in early hours
Everything apart from the following paragraph......
No dogs allowed. You are on the EOE doorstep. We show people are extremely responsible about our dogs. They are totally house trained and are kept in cages. other show people told me Days Inn allowed their dogs in, so that's where I'll be staying in future.
Bed was the best part of the room
After quite a long day and journey to the hotel myself and my partner finally checked Into the hotel at around 9oclock.. The receptionist was pleasant. She gave us our keys and we proceeded to the room. As soon as I opened the door I noticed the bin had not been emptied and had a crisp packet in it I thought nothing less of this as it wasn't a major issue however when i decided to make myself a drink I noticed the mug and spoon was absolutely filthy. And as I went to the bathroom in search of a ran cup noticed there was also hairs in the bath and more rubbish left in the bathroom bin. Overall I couldn't enjoy my stay asuch after seeing this and was not happy with the state of the room. Being in housekeeping myself I know everybody occasionally forgets things when they are rushing or tired but this was no acceptable. I wouldn't stay here again or reccomend this hotel to anyone I know
All good apart from finding an Executive room without a fridge!
Shocked that in an Executive room there was no fridge!
In Peterborough for the regatta. Location brilliant for the rowing lake. Receptionist gave very good walking directions to avoid driving.
Duty manager and staff all excellent.
Staff friendly. First time I have been to a hotel and the reception call when we get in the room to make sure everything is ok. Nice touches giving a kids pack to our little boy and a cookie. He enjoyed so did daddy lol. Thanks. Will be back
Re dining: pasta over cooked and 'sticky toffee pudding' actually treacle sponge - they are not the same thing!
