The friendly and helpful staff. The excellent quality and value of the breakfast . The local scenery.

The bathroom was dated. Quite limited menu for dinner, but the quality makeup for this. Lack of a telephone in the room.

As part of a group staying to attend a wedding elsewhere we found the staff welcoming and extremely helpful. The decor in the room is showing its age, but the beds were very comfortable and the facilities more than adequate. Would stay again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good.

we have stopped at this hotel in the past,but the hotel has changed ownership recently and is in poor general condition and badly needs redecoration and modernisation.

Nothing springs to mind

Breakfast buffet was generally very good. Bed very comfortable. Service was generally good at the bar and breakfast but a warm smiling "hello" welcome would help to improve the initial impression. Generally a pleasant stay in a good location.

Hot water in shower needs care as was extremely hot without adding cold water. No warning signs. Hotel needs a bit more upgrading. Some work has been done but more is required. Our party of six ate elsewhere as the dining room lacked appeal. If critical about breakfast ... sausages could be better and there was no black pudding.

Gute Lage am Eingang zum Dovedale

Fenster war kaput und wurde nicht repariert. Dusche war zu heiß und nicht regulierbar und wurde erst nach der dritten Beschwerde repariert. Sauberkeit war nicht zufriedenstellend. Housekeepimg ließ zweimal nach dem Reinigen die Zimmertür offen.

Location was good but needed a car to site see this time value for money

We booked before the hotel was taken over by tf leisure (walking tour operators) Hotel reception were not over friendly Hotel operated mainly for tour operators Hotel management did not inform dining room staff of requirements so last morning we had to have breakfast on a small table in reception

We had a four night stay at the Peverill and found it very comfortable,it is obvious it is in need of an over haul which I believe is in process,but the friendliness of the staff more than made up for this. The breakfast was excellent very good choice and hot which is rare at self service breakfasts.We only had one evening meal at the hotel as we found it to be a little expensive.although the meal again was excellent. The hotel is very much geared up for walking and group holidays which I believe the new owners specialise in and at times I felt we were forgotton in the rush having to ask several times for things but that is only a minor complaint,would I stay again probably not only because of my mobility problems,would I recommend it yes.
