Staff we're extremely welcoming and pleasant, they were always willing to help. Rooms we're always tidy and had regular clean towels.
Breakfast was lovely and nice coffee and loads to pick from
They need to have better tea and coffee. Not powered milk that was just nasty.
Cleanless, nice light breakfast, very nice owner who was coming and bringing more food, I really liked our room with bathroom nice deko and tv infront of bed.We will come here definitly again.
Hearing noice from room next to our
quiet an clean
breakfast understanding it would be full english
Nice, clean and very quiet little guesthouse near the beach and railway station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Electric kettle, tea bags and instant coffee available in the room.
Even the more expensive "larger double room" was very small.
Very comfy beds, clean shower. Very nice cafe down the road for breakfast. Short distance to the seafront. Was kind of what you expect for the price.
Didn't like the sachets of powdered milk to make tea. Ok for coffee I guess but I don't drink coffee. Continental breakfast, went to breakfast 10 mins after it opened at 9 and no coffee and nothing available except a pot of yoghurt. Owners? Came to clear away but said nothing to no one. A good morning or hello would have been nice. Didn't get shown to the room just handed a key. I guess if you expect service then you need to find a more expensive place.
Absolutely fantastic guest house. Very friendly staff, fantastic price for such comfort. Had absolutely no problems at all. Close the cafés, bars and tram stop.
Staff weren't friendly , breakfast was awfull , cereal n toast makeup ur own , very bad smell on stairs at all times ,
Friendly staff, lovely breakfast buffet and its close proximity to the beach. The whole place is peaceful and it helps me to relax.
The room is too small and there is no wardrap for our clothes !!!
the phoenix was very clean bright and array service was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. it 2 mins down the road to the front and the beach 10 mins walk in to Blackpool tower and shops car park was next to guest house all in all a very nice place to stay.
could not find anything wrong with phoenix guest house.
Cheap room, very clean, free wifi, TV in room. Can't go wrong.
The room size, bed comfort, tv, pillows, well equipped, highly recommend
Nice clean room
I really enjoyed my stay at the pheonix the owner was wonderful everything was spotless. Everything was close by facilities were good no complaints whatsoever .I would recommend it
The only thing was that the stairs are a bit steep a bit of a climb to my room apart from that I could not fault it .
The roof leaked a little
Clean, friendly, comfortable with everything that you required for a weekend break!!!! This place was really clean and presentable and without doubt one of the best I've stayed at in Blackpool. Breakfast was nice if your not one for that early morning greasy fry up as there was plenty to choose from like 4 different cereals, croissants, muffins, toast, yogurts etc. With it been located at the north pier do not let this put you off as its about a 15 minute walk to the town and for anyone who's older you can catch one off the new trams at the bottom of the street. All in all a really great stay and will be booking here again without doubt on my next visit to blackpool. Well done pheonix ;-)
Nothing I can think of to be honest!!!
Loved staying here close to everything we wanted to do and a tram ride away from the pleasure beach. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to blackpool
We didnt book an en suite. our mistake will do this on our next visit to pheonix guest house.
The beds, good breakfast options, in a great location & friendly staff
staff were very nice location was good
9-930am breakfast not good beds lasted 4 night,s without change powdered milk ugh?? ran out of tea bags on day 2
