The location is excellent!.There is a nice lounge where there is a mini bar e comfortable. Everyday newspapers are available. The continental breakfast is good with an option for cooked one (at reasonable additional cost). The hotel is been recently renovated.
The room (111) has a reasonable size, but the space between the bed and the wall was only circa of 1feet!!. The shower cubicle was also very small; if the guest is around 5'3" height, he/she will no be able open the arms. Surprised us be asked to pay the hotel on arrival.
Very near to tube station, lots of shops and restaurants and Notting Hill carnival route! Good included breakfast with cheap add-ons if wanted.
No parking - but no fault of hotel.
The location of the hotel, the room was clean
Breakfast, very small room, very hot on the 3rd floor and only a fan available
This hotel is very good because is near the tube but in the night you can sleep very well...The breackfast is fantastic and all is beautiful. In next holiday i ll come back very sure !!! Bye bye London..
Location - close proximity to Hyde Park; shops, restaurants right outside, although bit of walk to Oxford St. Standard 3 star but good for the price in London (double room < £100). Breakfast was also decent.
No a/c so was quite warm, although fan in the room did help somewhat.
Great Location, which is near the Tube Station (Bayswater) and near many kinds of restaurants and souvenir shops
No Air-Conditioned, but it provides a Motor Fan. Room is quite small (I stayed at #310)
Very comfortable rooms, clean and very well located - the nearby high street had everything you could need. Staff friendly and answered queries with a smile.
Nothing really - just nitpicking - but the breakfast staff are so efficient that your plate disappears before your eyes!
Receptionist on arrival should be congratualated and rewarded for pleasant manners, a big smile and professional attitude. I think this lady could help train the others to her high standard. Arrived to hotel at about 6pm. Bst Western - Reward this lady.
I was really disappointed with this hotel. First impression were excellent with lovely check in staff. After this I can only say the remaining staff need training and support. An example - Break time - continental breakfast. Disorderly with rude staff and staff who appeared grumpy, dispondent and unhappy. There was just one lady with a smile and a pleasant attitide. Tables were dirty and not cleaned quickly enough for the numer of guests eating, customers ignored. It was a shame as the hotel has such potential. Customer service after initial met and greet was poor. I will write and ask for my money back. Room exceptionally hot - but ok as wasa scorcher of a day.
The hotel is minutes away from two underground stations, with access to the circle, district and central line so you can go pretty much anywhere from right there. Also close to Hyde and Kensington park which is great for a walk. The 1-person room was not very big, but big enough with a small desk to work on and a comfortable bed. There was a fan in the closet which, given the warm weather, was very welcome. WiFi was good in the breakfast room, lounge and the room (1st floor). Connection speed was better than any hotel I've visited, so that was a pleasant surprise. Staff was very friendly upon arrival. They already had my details so they didn't make me fill out everything again on the check in card, which some hotels could take a hint from.
The food selection, both during breakfast and in the lounge/bar area, is quite simple. The quality is good, but could really do with more choice. Plenty of food places in the area though. The key kept getting stuck in the door lock, taking quite some effort to get it out again.
The location round the corner from 2 tube stations , the size of the room and cleanliness. The little extras in the bathroom were very welcome .Breakfast was good for the price and the reception / bar was a good place to chill away from the room .
The heat , I appreciated having a fan in the single room but even so it would put me off from staying in summer again - which is a shame because I couldn't fault anything else .
Reasonable price for a room with shower and bathroom in a nice location. Nice breakfast.
Location is good. Breakfast is also rather good.
It is a really very small room. The bathroom door couldn't been opened fully because of bed. My room was facing backyard and it was quiet in the night there, but I suppose that rooms facing the street can be noisy since window frame is very old and can hardly provide good soundproofing.
the location of the hotel. The cleanliness was good and the chamber people were very friendly the barman was very amenable.
The reception staff were a bit hot and cold, the guests in front of us were treated with courtesy and care but a different member of staff dealt with us and she was a bit abrupt. At the time of booking online we were lead to believe that a full English breakfast was included but were informed at check in that it was only continental.
Room was quiet, location was far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to shops, pubs and the tube to walk.
Air con would have been nice, but the weather was exceptionally warm, so it was worth it. Use the fans provided by the hotel.
the location was great food was nice
the room was too hot a fan would have been nice
Decent value budget accommodation ... and the staff on the front desk were sufficiently helpful. It was nice being within easy walking distance to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.
The rooms are very, very small. The water pressure in the shower was poor. The amenities were also very basic.
Location was close to train station and tube
Very old, not very clean, needed to keep window open- no air conditioner. Breakfast was horrible
continental breakfast only, no choice at all. no laundry.
location is really good
close to tube and shops and restaurants, easy walk to some London attractions
single rooms are very small
Great location, close to city center, rooms are large enough, good breakfast, helpful personnel
A little bit old furniture
Crammed in for breakfast
Good location and within minutes from two undergriund stations - Queensway and Bayswater. Clean, good breakfast. Value for money, considering it is chain hotel in London.
Everything except internet and small security which is not so critical! Very satisfied stay and will come back!
Internet unstable! Could have better security on the luggage storage!
