Good position, short walk to 2 tube stations. Nice bar and comfy lounge, feels welcoming when you walk in. Good breakfast, with possibility of eggs etc. as an inexpensive extra. Courtesy tray in room. Double room was a reasonable size, comfortable bed, modern bathroom with good towels. Quiet at night. Multi-lingual staff were very helpful - we were there when it snowed and the reception took a lot of time checking our flights and trains for us. Could leave luggage for the day when we checked out. We've stayed in other hotels in the same area but this is definitely the nicest. Would recommend it. Hotels are expensive in this area but it is central London and this one is very good value for money.

Functional clean hotel. Used only for one night, ideal as quick getaway hotel, reasonably cheap in comparison to others in that area. Staff were good. You get what you pay for and it suited my needs in this instance. If all you want is a bed and a shower, then it suits very well. Comfy bed! Bathroom aged but looked clean, breakfast ok if a little cheap, room very small - probably a single room with a double bed in it!

Location is great, room was clean and warm and our double room was a reasonable size for London. Bath and shower facilities were also good, bed was comfortable after a long day of sight seeing. Breakfast time and service was chaotic, appeared disorganised and staff appeared unfriendly, when asked for assistant.

Staff were friendly and helpful and quickly checked me in. Room is clean and warm. TV does have freeview and is a flatscreen type.Breakfast is okay. It had about 3 square metres of free flooring, it was hard to use the desk as the chair was very close to the bed, the bathroom door also only opens halfway as the same bed is in the way. The room felt like a single room with a double bed shoehorned in.

Good location near tubes in a nice area of London. Overlooking a lovely square, fairly quiet even though in City. Great shopping nearby. Friendly staff and a really enjoyable breakfast, a nice room with lovely hot shower which was super. Room we stayed in whilst clean and comfy would benefit from a refurb with matching furniture.

The price is right. The service is correct. The room was a bit outdated and new wallpaper might be a good idea. Wifi was very poor this day even in the lobby and inexistant in the room.

Great location a short walk from two tube stations, several restaurants and shops and a stone's throw from Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Good continental breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Modern bathroom. Good shower. Room cleaned thoroughly every day, in fact twice in one day! Tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits. Flatscreen tv with most freeview channels. Lovely seating areas with comfy chairs through lobby/bar area. Daily newspapers provided.

It's hard to find a decent hotel in London with at a good price. The room is small for a double (I believe it to be a single with a double bed in). The bed was very comfortable, free wi-fi and a great location.

location small room, no closet. A week before booking.com assured us there were rooms available and took my reservation, we visited the hotel and the front desk said they were sold out for that night, which made us nervous, but they did have the room available and at the booking.com price.

Very pleasant staff, comfortable bed. I asked for a quiet room & got one in the rear. The shower room / toilet was a fantastic modern thing with stone walls that was absolutely surreal next to the actual room decore. I had no problem at all with the continental breakfast, there was plenty of room at 8:30am both mornings. There was an enormous tear in the bed cover that was ludicrously badly stitched together. The carpet on the stairs up from the room were also more worn than I've ever seen before. If you are used to typical inexpensive London hotels this stuff is fine / funny but some might be put off.

Vicinity to public transport and good location. Small dining room, there was "rush hour" around 09:00 a.m. Needed to wait some 10 minutes to be seated. Staff was over-strained. Glasses for juice missing most of the time.

The people there are friendly and helpful. The wifi was genuinely free which is great and the person on reception asked me if i'd need it and gave the login password etc. which was proactive rather than discovering i'd need it and have to go back to reception (often the case) but it was not that easy to log into using ipad. The location was fine. Very close to Bayswater, and plenty of local shops. The mattress on the bed was collapsed on one side rendering it unfit for purpose. I was staying on my own but kept finding myself rolling down onto the crushed side. It would be funny if I didn't need to get any sleep. To go into the bathroom there was a 1"or slightly less step up which I kept stubbing my toe against.. And tripped over when I was wearing my shoes. I expect every guest staying there has experienced the same and wouldn't be surprised if someone has stumbled forward into the metal bath. The shower over the bath functioned but not as a shower. The shower head was basically an elevated tap! All this was fed back to the hotel on the questionnaire I have given them my email and asked for a refund.. I wait.

Our room was spotless and reasonably spacious (for London) with pleasant decor and a very comfortable bed. Lovely view onto the square. the staff were pleasant and efficient. Toiletries, and the tea and coffee things were kept well topped-up. I'd definitely make a return visit here. The breakfast room was a bit functional - a long narrow basement area that got a bit crowded, but the fare was good, and it wasn't a dealbreaker.
