One tube stop from Paddington station & a short walk from Bayswater underground station. The hotel has a decent amount of lounge space & a bar. The hotel is a short walk from a large selection of shops & restaurants & the Whiteleys shopping centre. Despite being -1c outside, room 418 was a warm 21 to 22c. Good size single room (6ft 10 x 16ft 3) & toilet/basin/shower room (6ft 2 x 3ft 3). Room & area were quiet. 22- inch widescreen Hungarian Samsung lcd tv with terrestrial & digital tv and radio. Continental breakfast seems penny-pinching, especially as there's a big selection of cereals, bread, yoghurt, ham, cheese, etc.. Would it be more expensive to provide inclusive full-English buffet breakfast (it's available at extra cost)?

Location. Breakfast. Bar and lobby. Very small room. Very old small telly. Only one very slow lift is not sufficient. Only one computor for guests and not free! No reaction from security to repeated loud banging on doors at 04:00 to 06:00 in the night.

It's in the city center. The recepcionist made a mistake during booking. I booked a non-smoker room. When I arrived at my room I noticed it was a smoking room so I went back to the reception. There the receptionist answered me in a very bad mood that it was my mistake and I should have told them before about the problem. How do you expect me to do your work Mrs receptionist?...

It's hard to find a decent hotel in London with at a good price. The room is small for a double (I believe it to be a single with a double bed in). The bed was very comfortable, free wi-fi and a great location.

location small room, no closet. A week before booking.com assured us there were rooms available and took my reservation, we visited the hotel and the front desk said they were sold out for that night, which made us nervous, but they did have the room available and at the booking.com price.

I only stayed overnight on business; it was one of the cheapest hotels around. Worth the price? Well, it certainly isn't top notch, but I have seen worse. There is only one elevator and it can take 10 minutes to get down during morning breakfast rush hour. I would gladly walk but there was no obvious way down by foot.

Room size was good in this hotel compared to other similar grade hotels I have used in the surroundings of Paddington Station. The bathroom was very clean and well serviced. And the lift did work. Out of 3 hotels I have used this week, this is the only hotel where the lift worked. No airconditioning system. In summer in London this is a necessity for any decent hotel. Fortunately there was a fan in the room.

Very pleasant staff, comfortable bed. I asked for a quiet room & got one in the rear. The shower room / toilet was a fantastic modern thing with stone walls that was absolutely surreal next to the actual room decore. I had no problem at all with the continental breakfast, there was plenty of room at 8:30am both mornings. There was an enormous tear in the bed cover that was ludicrously badly stitched together. The carpet on the stairs up from the room were also more worn than I've ever seen before. If you are used to typical inexpensive London hotels this stuff is fine / funny but some might be put off.

£60 per night including breakfast was very reasonable at Easter in London. The staff were (mostly) very pleasant and polite. The rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel is located in Bayswater, which is central and convenient. I've stayed many times before and never really had any problems. A certain member of staff had a rather snappy attitude. I don't think she meant to be rude but she came across very badly whenever I asked for something. Everyone was else was fine. Also, for some reason when storing a bag, there was no record of who it belonged to. Anyone could take what they wanted.

Vicinity to public transport and good location. Small dining room, there was "rush hour" around 09:00 a.m. Needed to wait some 10 minutes to be seated. Staff was over-strained. Glasses for juice missing most of the time.

The people there are friendly and helpful. The wifi was genuinely free which is great and the person on reception asked me if i'd need it and gave the login password etc. which was proactive rather than discovering i'd need it and have to go back to reception (often the case) but it was not that easy to log into using ipad. The location was fine. Very close to Bayswater, and plenty of local shops. The mattress on the bed was collapsed on one side rendering it unfit for purpose. I was staying on my own but kept finding myself rolling down onto the crushed side. It would be funny if I didn't need to get any sleep. To go into the bathroom there was a 1"or slightly less step up which I kept stubbing my toe against.. And tripped over when I was wearing my shoes. I expect every guest staying there has experienced the same and wouldn't be surprised if someone has stumbled forward into the metal bath. The shower over the bath functioned but not as a shower. The shower head was basically an elevated tap! All this was fed back to the hotel on the questionnaire I have given them my email and asked for a refund.. I wait.
