Good facilities for the money
The location of my room was next to a fairly busy road
Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Friendly and helpful manager. Excellent breakfast selection to suit everyone. Friendly staff at breakfast. Free wifi in the hotel. Secure luggage room. Cleanliness of rooms, reception and toilets. Great location - 5mins walk from Kensington Gardens. 2min walk from Bayswater metro station.Lots of shops, restaurants and pubs nearby.
Helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms and a very tasty breakfast.
Great location, Hyde park right around the corner and the hop on hop off bus tour stops are there too. We are late 20's couple with a 6month old and it served it's purpose for us for the 2 nights we were there. Breakfast was ok, just your basic toast, ceral, eggs and cold cut meats, but it's all you need
Rooms were very small but Its the only thing negative I can say.
Location, courtesy of staff, decor.
Room rather small !
Short walk (15 - 20 mins) from Paddington Station, and 5 mins walk from Bayswater Road: where there is a tube, or better still the 148 bus which takes you to the centre of London. Made getting about so easy.
the comfortable beds in the room.
can get abit too warm. didn't have hot food on for breakfast except toast.
Good location, friendly staff, early check in permitted.
The smallest hotel room I've ever seen, room width was the length of my single bed, so a little claustrophobic. Room very hot and only able to open the window a few inches.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff
No airconditioning in room
Common areas newly and attractively decorated. Good location - easy access to Hyde Park and West End.
Room was perfectly adequate but very small as was the shower room My room (11) was on the ground floor and fronted the street so there was quite a lot of pedestrian and vehicle noise. Continental breakfast was adequate but not outstanding.
Friendly and helpful staff Continental breakfast was good Location is very convenient Size of the room is better than in many hotels of the same price range
nothing bad to complain about
Good central location with access to several tube stations nearby. Friendly helpful staff both at reception and in the breakfast room Good storage for luggage after checking out. Clean tidy room - comfortable bed Reasonably quiet at night - little traffic noise from outside.
Although small and rather hot, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff generally very pleasant and helpful, booking a couple of day tours for us. The location is 10 minutes walk to Bayswater station, 5 minutes to the shops, restaurants and pubs and 20 minutes to Kensington Gardens and Palace.
The reception area was very basic (no carpet), the room was rather hot and the lifts were very small and slow. We arrived around 1.00 pm and had to wait until around 4.00 pm before we were advised that our room was finally ready. They told us that they would notify us when it became available but failed to do so (due to a change in staff), leaving us to waste time sitting around the fairly sparse foyer area for 3 hours.
Proximity to London Underground Restaurants in the area Kensington Gardens
The location is excellent!.There is a nice lounge where there is a mini bar e comfortable. Everyday newspapers are available. The continental breakfast is good with an option for cooked one (at reasonable additional cost). The hotel is been recently renovated.
The room (111) has a reasonable size, but the space between the bed and the wall was only circa of 1feet!!. The shower cubicle was also very small; if the guest is around 5'3" height, he/she will no be able open the arms. Surprised us be asked to pay the hotel on arrival.
Very near to tube station, lots of shops and restaurants and Notting Hill carnival route! Good included breakfast with cheap add-ons if wanted.
No parking - but no fault of hotel.
The location of the hotel, the room was clean
Breakfast, very small room, very hot on the 3rd floor and only a fan available
This hotel is very good because is near the tube but in the night you can sleep very well...The breackfast is fantastic and all is beautiful. In next holiday i ll come back very sure !!! Bye bye London..
Location - close proximity to Hyde Park; shops, restaurants right outside, although bit of walk to Oxford St. Standard 3 star but good for the price in London (double room < £100). Breakfast was also decent.
No a/c so was quite warm, although fan in the room did help somewhat.
Great Location, which is near the Tube Station (Bayswater) and near many kinds of restaurants and souvenir shops
No Air-Conditioned, but it provides a Motor Fan. Room is quite small (I stayed at #310)
Very comfortable rooms, clean and very well located - the nearby high street had everything you could need. Staff friendly and answered queries with a smile.
Nothing really - just nitpicking - but the breakfast staff are so efficient that your plate disappears before your eyes!
Receptionist on arrival should be congratualated and rewarded for pleasant manners, a big smile and professional attitude. I think this lady could help train the others to her high standard. Arrived to hotel at about 6pm. Bst Western - Reward this lady.
I was really disappointed with this hotel. First impression were excellent with lovely check in staff. After this I can only say the remaining staff need training and support. An example - Break time - continental breakfast. Disorderly with rude staff and staff who appeared grumpy, dispondent and unhappy. There was just one lady with a smile and a pleasant attitide. Tables were dirty and not cleaned quickly enough for the numer of guests eating, customers ignored. It was a shame as the hotel has such potential. Customer service after initial met and greet was poor. I will write and ask for my money back. Room exceptionally hot - but ok as wasa scorcher of a day.
The hotel is minutes away from two underground stations, with access to the circle, district and central line so you can go pretty much anywhere from right there. Also close to Hyde and Kensington park which is great for a walk. The 1-person room was not very big, but big enough with a small desk to work on and a comfortable bed. There was a fan in the closet which, given the warm weather, was very welcome. WiFi was good in the breakfast room, lounge and the room (1st floor). Connection speed was better than any hotel I've visited, so that was a pleasant surprise. Staff was very friendly upon arrival. They already had my details so they didn't make me fill out everything again on the check in card, which some hotels could take a hint from.
The food selection, both during breakfast and in the lounge/bar area, is quite simple. The quality is good, but could really do with more choice. Plenty of food places in the area though. The key kept getting stuck in the door lock, taking quite some effort to get it out again.
The location round the corner from 2 tube stations , the size of the room and cleanliness. The little extras in the bathroom were very welcome .Breakfast was good for the price and the reception / bar was a good place to chill away from the room .
The heat , I appreciated having a fan in the single room but even so it would put me off from staying in summer again - which is a shame because I couldn't fault anything else .
Reasonable price for a room with shower and bathroom in a nice location. Nice breakfast.
