I liked nothing except location - very dirty rooms - especially the bed - full of someones hair - so I could not sleep - thinkin all the time whose hair it could be. The breakfast is poor and the staff is rude - avoid it!!! I am afraid all the hotels for pond 70 per double in central london are the same - dirty and offering a bad sirvice |

The only redeeming feature of the Piccolino Hotel was the location. The bathroom was smelly dirty and the smallest I have ever seen. Hallways cluttered with laundry and furniture. The worst hotel of our eight week trip. Worst ever! |

The bathroom was clean and the staff was friendly Although friendly , the staff did not know much about touristic information. The stairs are very steep and lifting my bag all the way up was a challenge |

The hotel is very close of tube stations and hyde park. Water pressure in the shower if you bedroom is in a high flat is not good enough. |

Met friends, ate in restaurants, attended theater and a special parade and celebration--some sort of a river festival held on the Thames each year. Used the Paddington RR station to travel to other parts of England. No elevator; a bit cramped in the rooms. |

Cheap (for London!), close to public transportation (train, subway), relatively quiet street. Room not very clean, staff doesn't speak much English. |

Very good location, 2 min walking distance to Paddington Underground Station. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff are very nice people even though they does not speak too much English despite the hotel is located in London. 1) The "Continental Breakfast" included in the price was very poor, just toasted bread, butter and jam, NO ham NO chesse. 2) You have to queue and wait as the breakfast room have just around 8 tables wit little capacity of people. 3) The breakfast time is just from 7am to 9 am. So, even if your're on holliday be prepare as an early bird. 4) No lift to get to a four floor triple room, be ready to use the stairs. 5) Room for three was very small, beds and blankets are very old. 6) We found a lot of dirt underneath the bed, they do clean but not well enough. 7) The bathroom was clean but very very small. 8) TV with a bunch of cables hanging on the wall is unsafe and an ugly touch. |

When I arrived I was transferred to anothe hotel which was not of the same standard. I raised this with the hotel manager, who resolved the issue within 30 minutes and found me an alternative, and much improved room at Piccolino. |

i loved the decor and feel of the bedroom, it was very classy. I will be definitely staying here again soon. They also had free channels on sky available and free wifi. The cleaning staff could have been friendlier but the reception guy was absolutely amazing :) |

When I arrived I was sent to another hotel the Classic. The room I reserved having been let. I have stayed in some seedy hotels in my time but this was the worst. Filthy, worn out, dark, breakfast was two slices of white toast and some instant coffee, I took some photos of the worst but have time to do anything about it. This is what £55 buys in W2. |

The hotel was basic but my room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a top floor room which was warm at night but quiet since I overlooked the back of the hotel. If you just want somewhere to crash for a night, it's fine. It is also very near Paddington Station and Hyde Park so the location is handy. There is no lift that I could see and if you have a room near the top, there are alot of narrow, steep stairs to navigate. The communal areas could do with a tidy-up and the shower was lame (even for British standards) but these are small points and overall I would stay here again if I were to visit London for 1 night. |
