Location is very good The room I had was really bad. Small, the shower did not work and there was a noise from a machine somewhere in the building that did never stop. There was a dirty freezer keept in the room for storage?? I dont think a Hotel can charge for a room they use as storage room, is to noisy for a nights sleep and with a shower with a broken water blender: only hot or cold water at a time and very litle water. I recomend if you book at this hotel to ask for another room than room nr. 16.

Location Extremely small room and bathroom. Inconvenient getting to top floor via very narrow staircase. too often staff not present and doors locked with notice that we will be back in ten minutes.

The location. Anything. It is the terrible hotel. We felt cheated. Two nights two different rooms. None of them comfortable enough for two people. But the second night was the worst of the worst. The first night se were told that, as we were a “nice couple”, we were going to be put in a better (???) room but tween bed, but the second we’ll have a double room in a better position (a big lie). The second night, the receptionist told us that anyway we have been place in the top room, and that maybe the hotel will compensate us. Effectively it was practically on the roof, but it was hardly a room. It was so tiny that we could not practically move, the mirror and the side-bed lights did no work. We were worn out, so did not complain that night. We were awaked very early by very noise pipes. Next day, we obviously complained, but not compensation, only bad excuses. The Piccolino hotel: a place to forget and never come back.

We liked the friendly and helpful staff, the large room with one double bed and two separate beds. Beds were very comfortable. The room was of a decent size. Wc and shower separated which helped for us being four, but inside the room. Wifi coverage was great in our room. Close proximity to Paddington station and some descent restaurants just nearby. The staff arranged for a taxi to Stanford airport at a price which actually was equal to subway and train tickets. Nothing really.

The hotel does what is says on the tin, It is good value for money, comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. The breakfast is not the most exciting meal you will eat but again good value for money. The location is excellent, I have stayed there twice now and would have no hesitation using the hotel again. The rooms on the top floor are a bit of a trek as there is no lift, otherwise nothing to complain about.

Very friendly staff, in a practical and quiet environment. No luxury whatsoever, albeit with guarantee of a very good night´s sleep. Many thanks to the more than friendly staff. A recurrent problem in European less expensive hotels: low water pressure.

The hotel is located in a region close to the underground. The room, although small, was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We did book last minute though so could have got a bigger one if we'd booked earlier. The staff were discreet but very friendly and helpful.

Location was really good. Paddington st. just 3 mins away. Clean room. You get what you pay for. Would come back if I'm staying in London for a few days. Cold room, fan in the room was very loud and old. Very noisy between rooms.

First of all, unlike the Booking.com reservation made and confirmed at the Grand Royale London, the previous day, Booking.com didn't phone demanding a further £170 or be cancelled! The Piccolino and I were instead, off to a good start! It's the detail always, that tells the story and there it was, in the wall papered inside back of the wardrobe! Waking between divine cotton sheets with morning sunshine pouring in, stepping onto warm, polished, real wooden floors complete with the required creaking of the floor beams says it all. Style, comfort and detail. The hosts were very pleasant and the girl in the breakfast room, another good start to the day as she thoughtfully brought hot toast at just the right time. The tray in the room laden with tea, coffee and a milk pyramid was generous and welcoming. Great position, great stay and a cosy lovely, lovely room! Well done! The stairs up to my bedroom but they were a good workout for the stairs in the Underground and really so much better than a lift in this lovely house! The edges of the towel had gone and it really didn't belong in such a well considered haven.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful entrance and rooms, ours was the two-person- room displayed in the pictures and unlike everywhere else I have been, out room looked exactly like in the picture, even more beautiful. It was very cosy, nice furniture, even a plant on top of the wardrobe. Everything was clean and fresh. Breakfast was very good, a lot of choice. A little walk to a subwaystation. Small but clean and nicelooking bathroom with a shower with 2 heads. I loved the room and the hotel very much. The breakfast had buns that were a little hard and that gave us the idea they weren't fresh. The bed was kind of shabby, everytime we sat down, I was afraid it would break down. (And wait; we are 50 and 70 kilo'S.) Also the night were cold, there wasn't an extra blanket. We had a room with a balcony and there were Christmaslights hanging from the balcony that blinked right through the closed curtains. When we asked the mister he turned it off, but the next day we had to ask again before we went to sleep. When I am in a hotel I don't like to have to tell anyone when I am going to sleep or else the lights will keep me awake. The mister of the hotel didn't have right information about transport (to the airport). He recommended us to go by taxi for 50 pounds, because he said there were no buses in the night. But when we searched ourselves, we found National Express did offer transport all through the night for 20 pounds. I think hotelpersonnel in a foreign country should know these kinds of things. We asked the night before we had to check out real early if we could have a breakfastpackage to take, that was alright, but when we wanted to checkout at 4am, the hotelmister was nowhere to be found and suddenly appeared right out of bed. He forgot about the breakfastpackage, for which we had paid.
