being able to wander round Canterbury Cathedral and soak in all of the history of ' hundreds of years. Exploring the cities many museums , beautiful parks and shops. Going back over Canterbury's origins up to the present day, which is what I have wanted to do for a long time. |

Great staff, very welcoming. Lovely breakfast. Brilliant location for city / sightseeing. If using car park, make sure they tell you how to fill in your parking ticket (£5 a day), as I got a parking ticket even though my tickets were displayed, as I misinterpreted what dates to put. Had to dispute ticket and get revoked, all good in the end, just a hassle. |

We had the Marlowe Room which has a large four poster bed in a nice size room. It was very comfortable and clean. The shower was impossible to adjust so we had to bath during our stay. |

It was situated right into the city of Canterbury so it was real easy to explore the city by foot. The staff was very friendly and each morning we had a very good (english) breakfast. We really did enjoy our stay! The temperature of the water in the shower was hard to handle, it was either too warm or too cold. |

The food at breakfast and at the evening meal was really good. The kindness and cheerfulness of the receptionist/ manager was greatly appreciated. The stairs ewre a bit steep and in room 5 the shower was a bit hard to manage either scalding hot or cold. I had to settle for a bath instead. |

A great room with a great location for exploring Canterbury. It was also nice to have a good restaurant right downstairs. The staff was really nice as well. Nothing bad to say about the Pilgrims Hotel. |

Location is excellent but the hotel must be due a refurbishment; it is starting to look a bit tired. Nevertheless, we enjoy staying at the Pilgrims Hotel and probably will be returning as we visit Canterbury two or three times a year. See note above re; need for refurbishment. The two next questions (below0, are difficult to answer with a stark yes or no option. |

The Pilgrims Hotel is situated in a wonderful location just off the main street of Canterbury. The hotel oozes history and character. The full English breakfast was a highlight and the perfect start to the day. The bathroom was ordinary and not to a standard some may expect. |
