The location was excellent and the standard of the room good
The staff were not attentive, the breakfast was expensive and not as described and there was a general lack of small details that you would expect when paying £200 a night - e.g. no tissues in the room, no offer of a morning paper or alarm call, no fresh milk, no iron (though one was supposed to be there)
I could not fault this place at all. The staff we're brilliant, they went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Staff understood that I was in a bit of a rush when I got there so check in was very fast. The room was wonderful, the attention to detail impressed me the most (I stayed in the room designed like a boat) the lighting, little trinkets placed around the room and complimentary gifts were a great touch. The room was great value for money, I would actually expect it to cost a little more for what it included and where it was situated but this was actually the reason why I was stayed to stay here (we all know how expensive London can be). It was less than a 5 minute direct walk to the o2 so no taxi was needed for the night. I can't wait to find a reason to stay again!
Decor, ambience, staff, location
Bit noisy and smoky as in a room over the front door of the pub. Pricey but then they can!!!!!!
Breakfast Atmosphere Location
Early morning music below.
Location for O2
Power failure during the night Too hot - inadequate ventilation
We like the friendly homely feel of the Pilot
Staff were very helpful and cheerful
Office in the bar by fire place not much privacy for guests
The room we stayed in (10) was very comfortable and you could see the O2 out of the window!Staff were kind and polite. The parking was plentiful & free and it took us 5 minutes to walk to the O2. Breakfast was good quality.
The corridor up to the room smelled like cooking fats which I appreciate may be hard to contain as the rooms are above a pub but it's not very nice to walk out to after showering & getting ready. The staff seemed unorganised (sorry!) but made up for it in their kindness & good hospitality.
Lovely rooms, very modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely pub, food and drink. Great breakfast. Great staff. Could not be happier!
That we had to go home so soon!!
good fresh cooked breakfast lovely room, very recently decorated and spotlessly clean, very individual design free parking and only a 5 minute walk from the O2 and Greenwich tube station and the Thames Clipper stop
no obvious hotel check in point
very small rooms but overall a nice place to stay. Parking no problem and great location if visiting the O2.
We had the large room and was excellent, staff friendly and food lovely, 5 minute walking distance from the O2, will stay again.
Brilliant with a place to stay so near to the O2 Arena
A shame we couldn't get a table in the pub before our concert in the O2 Arena
fab place, excellent location, helpful staff. loved our stay
Elliott the duty manager was very welcoming and more than helpful. Made our stay!!
The location was fab. The staff were great. The breakfast was very good. The parking was a bonus
Found it a bit tricky to get to ie I went up the bus lane due to a weird road layout! Would have liked the bar to be open a bit later for guests only so we could have a drink after the show.
Friendly attentive staff, clean room. Good beer and reasonably priced food. Nice attention to detail in room decor.
Room a bit warm, quite expensive for what you get but this is due to fantastic location near O2
Nice themed rooms. Good food & helpful staff.
All good, nothing bad!
Very close to the O2, staff were lovely, cheerful and very helpful. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was good.
Bed frame too large for size of room and we kept catching ourselves on it when walking about the room - this could easily be solved by replacing with a divan with headboard and would make the room feel bigger. No pods for the coffee machine.
What more could you ask for in London? Loved the themed room and comfy bed. Breakfast was average, served in a pleasant garden room. Would definitely stay again when visiting the O2 - in fact have already recommended it!
Great location, staff, food. Lots of character. If you are going to the O2, and coming in from Norwich by train, get off at Stratford, tube to the O2. Don't travel to Liverpool Street. Taxii will be approx £40 to the Hotel.
The room was great, unique and great decor. The bed was very comfy and the shower was great.
Breakfast was ok but a little cold.
7 minutes walk to the O2. Quirky boutique hotel. Good transport links. Very good breakfast. Staff friendly and efficient even though there was a Christmas party going on when we got there.
Nothing. I wanted to give this a bad review to keep it a bit more secret but that would not be fair !
Proximity to the O2 is a fantastic plus, but from start to finish the staff were outstandingly helpful, friendly and efficient. Despite being incredibly busy in the evening with a Christmas party, the bar staff made a point of making sure that we were comfortable and that our glasses were full. Our room - the Captain's Cabin - was bijou but quirky and comfortable, and the bathroom with its array of complimentary toiletries was first rate. Lots of hot water, too! The free parking is a definite bonus!
