Evening meal was excellent, staff were very polite & friendly
Breakfast was the worst I have ever had. I complained about the taps being very loose & they didn't seem to care.
What an amazing find, we booked on location but were blown away at the quality of the rooms, the cleanliness and the friendly staff. We didn't have chance to try the cuisine from the gastro pub style menu but will next time as we would definitely return here and recommend a stay here.
had an evening meal at the inn, we both had the rib eye steak which was excellent, the staff were both friendly and polite and seemed almost surprised when we left a tip
only gripe would be the cost of the room, we could've stopped in a 5 star hotel in the same area for the same money, so perhaps a little pricey for what it was?
Great location, friendly staff, an amazing room and superb food. My partners and I Only stayed the one night but have reserved a room on 2 more occasions this year. Highly recommend.
Really lovely room, comfortable, warm, clean, spacious, room 10 Fab parking, great views, will be back
Location to 02 was great .place looks amazing and very quirky.Lady who booked us in very welcoming and loved the fob watch key
Our room was directly above kitchen all you could smell was food/chip fat.Toilet brush was brown and had human waste on it.we had paid £15 each for breakfast for supposedly all eat buffet was accused of not booking/paying at first food was very minimal 4 cereals choice fresh orange juice was even asked if wanted milk with cereals cooked breakfast tiny & cold worth no more than £5 never offered more coffee. On departure again asked if we had paid for breakfast when only 2 rooms rented surely should know how many you need to cater for not sure how they will cope if full. Will not return or recommend to anyone.I paid a total of £210 for room for 1 night for my husbands 50th birthday treat that really was not a good experience or value for money.
The bathroom was spacious and the room was clean and nicely decorated. The coffee provided in the room tasted wonderful. The distance to the O2 was great and we found somewhere to eat...
I booked the hotel especially to enjoy a traditional English roast dinner on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, although we arrived at around 6.30 pm the kitchen was already closed and no food was available. I was told I should have checked the website. Very disappointing.
It was very clean. The staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. The food in the restaraunts was well done.
There was no door separating the shower from the bedroom which was inconvenient.
Great food, friendly staff, easy walk to O2
There was nothing we didn't like. One comment would be that I was unable to plug the hairdryer in close enough to the mirror.
We normally go for big hotels but this was in a great position for the o2. We are so glad we chose The Pilot Inn. It is a fabulous pub, we were given such a warm welcome. The room was beautiful and very clean. We opted to eat at the pub, the food was great as was the service. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, And we found no faults at all. We would definitely stay again.
The location was great being just a stones throw away from the o2. We had a very friendly welcome. The decor was quirky. 10% off if you eat in the restaurant too which came in handy. The breakfast was nice and big.
There were just a few niggles that let this place down. There was no bin liner in the only bin which was located in the bathroom. There was quite a bit of noise until about 11pm with it being a pub and the mp3 players which they provide were great unless you were trying to sleep in another room. The restaurant was ok, the food was great but the young man who served as our waiter mumbled a lot and was difficult to understand. I ordered a desert and was served this with cold custard, we asked for this to be heated up and when this came back hot i enquired if this was meant to be cold and received a response of 'NO'. No apology just 'NO'. As for breakfast this would have been better with a choice of colour toast and a bit more of a crisp on the bacon.
Well situated and very close from the O2 compound.
Very Noisy. You can hear and feel the vibration in your room from the door of the pub slamming every time someone enter or get out. Smoke is getting in the room while people are smoking outside of the pub just under the windows. Direct view from the room on the rubbish outside .
Only a few minutes walk to the O2, yet the Inn is a well run pub/restaurant set in an individualistic and comfortable environment
Room was a bit small
Double bed side against the wall
All the above!
Easy walk to O2 , good pub type evening meal.nice atmosphere and very quirky decor.
We loved everything about this pub. Location, funky decor, clean room with a comfy bed, amazing coffee machine and lots of local information.
It was a bit too hot with a radiator and towel rail in the room. It was also a little on the small side for a superior double.
Great location for the O2, good service (no iron in the room, asked for one at the bar, came back to the room & had not only an iron but an ironing board as well) nice & clean. No complaints
Not really something we didn't like just that the rooms are small but it is a B&B not a hotel room, also room is very warm at night so no need for any PJs :)
Just a nice experience
absolutely nothing it was perfect
we didnt eat at pub as the price were stupid much cheaper to walk over to o2 and eat
The location was excellent and the standard of the room good
The staff were not attentive, the breakfast was expensive and not as described and there was a general lack of small details that you would expect when paying £200 a night - e.g. no tissues in the room, no offer of a morning paper or alarm call, no fresh milk, no iron (though one was supposed to be there)
I could not fault this place at all. The staff we're brilliant, they went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Staff understood that I was in a bit of a rush when I got there so check in was very fast. The room was wonderful, the attention to detail impressed me the most (I stayed in the room designed like a boat) the lighting, little trinkets placed around the room and complimentary gifts were a great touch. The room was great value for money, I would actually expect it to cost a little more for what it included and where it was situated but this was actually the reason why I was stayed to stay here (we all know how expensive London can be). It was less than a 5 minute direct walk to the o2 so no taxi was needed for the night. I can't wait to find a reason to stay again!
Decor, ambience, staff, location
Bit noisy and smoky as in a room over the front door of the pub. Pricey but then they can!!!!!!
