Pincents Manor Hotel stands in beautiful, peaceful grounds west of Reading, and has good access to the M4. There is ample free parking and free Wi-Fi internet. The hotel has good food, excellent service and an atmosphere of comfort. Bedrooms are individual, full of character and located in the main hotel or the annex within the grounds. Pincents Manor is well-located for Arlington Business Park (one mile) and Theale Lakes Business Park (2 miles). The center of Reading, Oracle Shopping Center and Beale Park are 5 miles away. The hotel is beautiful and our family room was a fantastic size with one double bed, two singles, a travel cot and two sofas! Period furniture and features made our stay in 'Lord Henry's room' extra special. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was scrummy! Would definately recommend and will return when we visit Legoland again.

The old building was lovely, wooden beams and wonky flooring.I Had a large room with a double and single bed and a fireplace. Breakfast was really good, and the location is very good for getting into central Reading, yet the hotel is hidden down a small road giving it a country feel. The grounds were much nicer than your average Travelodge. I was shown personally to my room which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. There is free Wireless Internet for all guests, so all the major boxes were ticked. The only thing in the room I would pick up on was the rather old tv with only 5 channels, but as I had my laptop, I didn't really need the tv as I was able to catch up with my emails and a bit of FaceBook! My only other small gripe was the evening menu wasn't exactly fine dining, but for the price, the quality of the food and the portion size I was happy overall.

The building is ( or was) a lovely old Tudor Manor, now sadly fallen on hard times. It is situated near the M4, but not noisy This holtel certainly does not live up to the impression given on the web-site. The room was huge, but dirty, The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. Dinner was very basic "pub" food and breakfast was about as minimal as it gets

With out doubt the best part of our visit to this Hotel has to be the service, and the friendly staff, they were outstanding. We could have chated for hours to all of them. Because of their friendly welcome, we would return one day. Even though it was a period hotel, some things could do with updating. The Mattresses were a little hard, with springs starting to appear, and maybe change the televison to flat screens at some stage.

Close to highway and shopping centre, walking distance of nearby railway station. Low ceilings, uneven flooring, couch dirty, not enough blankets or towels. Four people had to share one large towel!!

Friendly staff. Difficult to find. Satnav took us to the rear entrance, but the gates were locked. Had to drive a long way round to get to the front.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Pleasant grounds. The annexe is a lean-to building attached to the outer walls. The windows are wooden and as such do not shut out the droan of the nearby m4. The rooms have lots of friendly wildlife for the visitor, most notably woodlice and spiders. Thier eggs make an unusual feature in the bathrooms. Strangely the annexe rooms only have baths and not showers. I stayed for two nights, on the 2nd night the shampoo and bath gel was not replenished from the previous night.

It was lovely and quiet which is what we wanted and everyone at the Hotel was very helpful. I don't understand why, when you book for a double room with two people staying you don't get enough towels?? This did happen at this hotel, but it's not the only hotel I have stayed in and this has happened. I find it odd. But aas an observation rather than a complaint. :0)

This former manor house is full of character. The room we had was huge, with plenty of comfortable seating . There was a problem with the hot water to the room but this was quickly resolved by the helpful staff (we were given access to a nearby room) and without prompting, we were given a reduction in the price at check out, on what was already an excellent deal including full english breakfast.

Posto tranquillo, edificio d'epoca molto pittoresco, staff cordiale, bagno molto spazioso e pulito.
