View over lake, excellent staff and quality of food
Excellent staff, comfortable accommodation, free provision of items for baby, good swimming pool & spa facilities. Low off-peak price.
Lack of outdoor children's play park. Slot machines in indoor games area.
The cabin was luxurious, spacious and clean. Just needed a bath to be perfect!
The location and the size of the lodge for six people, plenty of room. Staff very polite and reception was very good at contacting us.
Nothing so far.
great location ,great facilities,a must to blow the cobwwebs away.
Restaurant excellent food , staff very friendly.
Would have liked an artiste on the Fri or Sat night. There was just a quiz!
The area for walks, activities the little sail paper sheet quiz at reception passed time in the evenings lots of information available and prompt service regarding the bedroom to volume not working.
All the staff were very pleasant and friendly. The lodges were very well equipped and very clean and spacious.
The cabin was very clean and cosy. The location is perfect and beautiful lake to wake up to every morning.
The bed was two twin beds pushed together which made a huge dint down the middle. Check out was too early 10am, considering you can't check in until 4pm.
Pool & indoor play area.
Having to pay for the pool. Limited entertainment that starts late.
Beautiful setting, booked 3 lodges and requested (if possible) lakeside lodges which we received. Lovely and warm and clean with all you need for a self catering break. Booked a table in the restaurant and all 9 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. All staff we met were really nice.
Only stayed 1 night! Would definitely have liked to stay longer
The studios are well equipped and comfortable. Overlooking lake was great. Food in bar was great and very helpful staff.
Lodge fantastic. Well equipped, very comfortable and clean. Tremendous value for the last minute deal we got when staying over 1 night end route to Edinburgh. Ate in the restAuRant and that was good value. Our lodge had a great view of the lake too. Would thoroughly recommend staying here, particularly if you get a good price.
Value for money, good restaurant both food and staff, cleanliness and presentation of the studio accommodation
A rather clinical and cool check in receptionist and the exorbitant cost of WiFi access (over £5 for 24hrs - not use but from time of first access). This would be very costly for a family with a number of individuals wanting to use it over a week's holiday. Couldn't even get past the on site provider to use my own mobile phone provider to access the internet. The explanation given at reception that prices had recently gone down but that the resort were trying to encourage membership was not very satisfactory.
We were very impressed with the lodge, everything about it, very tastefully decorated, full fitted kitchen, 2 bathrooms. It was very clean, and everything was in good working order unfortunately we were only staying 1 night but we are looking at having a proper weekend and hopefully stay for 2 nights and use the facilities.
The resort itself was lovely
The cabin was tired and in need of updating. The kitchen was old fashioned but well stocked and the bathroom was poor, mould and the shower was ridiculous...no power to it. Disappointed.
Reception staff were great, had an issue with the booking, staff sorted while we had complimentary drink in bar. Lodges are lovely, comfortable and well equipt
After arriving late on Friday, added with the problem at check in, we only managed to see half an hour of the entertainment. We were all looking forward to the next night, supposed to be cabaret. We found the room occupied the next night with a private party and the entertainment was limited to a game of killer pool in the next room while my partner and kids watched. If we had wanted to do that we would have went to the local boozer. Bit of a wasted weekend but I guess we got unlucky
Everything loved every minute
Breakfast was abit of a disaster no egg on some and no butter on some
Check-out time at 10am Noise from M6 Motorway Pay extra to use the pool
Location to motorway Lake and surrounding gardens Studio was well equipped and very clean Excellent staff Food very good
The bar and restaurant did not have a view of the lake. Where as the games room and tv lounge did but people in these areas would be busy on machines, table tennis etc. My only criticism
Very clean and comfortable in nice surroundings, great location for Leighton Moss RSPB reserve
Extra charges for using swimming pool and facilities
The log comfort of log cabins the location as it is quite central to travel other parts of the lakes peaceful
