We loved the beautiful location, the excellent meals we had in the restaurant, the excellent studio we had. We wished we could have stayed longer and am sure we will be back. All the staff were also very helpful and informative. Perfect stay.
Lack of evening entertainment for adults
Beautiful scenes, quiet and relaxing. Friendly staff too. Dinner menu is delicious. Highly recommended (in good weather)
you almost have to pay for every other service. Leisure Center (pool/sauna/jaccuzi), laundry, and WiFi are NOT included in the fees.
We visited pine lake for our 3rd wedding anniversary and had a lovely time,we stayed in studio 10 and found it very clean, spacious and cosy with everything we needed,we visited the restaurant on the 1st night and our meal was lovely and very well presented too, booking in and out was simple and quick and all staff were very polite and helpful,we will definately be back again as soon as we can also we found the location of the resort good too
Mattress on bed was a little bit hard
the lodges were very clean with all the mod cons you could wish for and the staff were very polite and helpful
Had to pay for wifi!!
Quiet and secluded site set around a pretty lake. Ideal location for easy day trip to the southern lakes or across to the Yorkshire dales.
Would be nice if they could just get a bit more land so that guests can walk right round the lake.
Setting, service, cleanliness, comfort.
Everything very relaxed my girlfriend would again and would relish the return ASAP thanks mr and mrs Gaines
Like it all can't complain
Location and lake activities are the best part.
Not much evening entertainment.

Stayed here for one night in a 1 bed studio lodge. Lodge room itself was very nice, modern and comfortable with all essential amenities and modern appliances. We liked the fact that there was plenty to do, see, eat and enjoy on site and looked especially good for those with young families. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant and the steak diane and burger we ordered was perfect and cooked to perfection with the brownie desert the best I've ever tasted! Defo worth a visit. I also enjoyed some beauty treatments in the spa, 3x 20min treatments for £25 was excellent value and I really enjoyed my massages and facial. Claire the beautician was very friendly and helpful. I also think the hiring of recently released DVDs is a good idea to watch in the room at night although £3.50 seemed slightly expensive for one nights hire. Having an on site shop and arcade is very handy and the pool looked very inviting although we didn't go in due to time constraints. I think the £100 we paid to stay there was reasonable considering we could enjoy the night time entertainment also if we wanted and having everything so close and convenient at a reasonable additional cost for most things. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating and we will defo visit again next year.
Small bed, Expensive DVD rental, Expensive to use pool
the highlight of our stay was the lazy boy chairs
The musty smell of the place and had to pay for swimming pool and gym- these should be free for paying customer
Conveient location on the way to scotland. Great accomodation, loved the kayaking
Staff /leisure facilities. Lake and water sports.
Lodge damp and old and had problems with drains. Smelt and was a very low standard given price.
Fantastic spot, apartment lovely. Great facilities and so peaceful and relaxing.
Lodge, staff , facilities
Having 2 small children. The lodge I was in was too far away from childrens activities.
Excellent facilities, amazing location, very friendly and helpful staff. They even rang us after we had settled in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. We would easily go back and stay for a month.
Activities: pool, Jacuzzi, lake, mini golf, pool table
location, great furnishings and kitchen, lots of hot water, views of the lake
I thought for £330 for 4 on friday evening to 10 on sunday we had paid enough and was disgusted to find that this did not include the gym and the swimming pool!
Its same my secand home
I came here a year ago with friends and loved it - hence booking again. Not sure if ownership has changed or what but nothing is actually included in price. Facilities such as pool and wifi at extra cost. Also took £100 bond on top of room price on booking in. Not what you would ecpect from a resort like this. Also, only maid service every three days! Staff had shocking attitudes throughout. Ive stayed in better bed and brsakfasts at half the price. Never again.
Wonderful location, just off the M6 - but peaceful. The cabins around the lake are very picturesque, and there is a bird sanctuary nearby. It's a great place to watch wildlife too.
The bar and restaurant are a bit small for the number of people that were there. It was quite noisy. Also noise comes into the restaurant from the games roon too.
Great setting, large fully equipped log cabins. Ours had balcony area with table. We could eat and relax in large lounge or on balcony as we were self catering. We drove to Lake District to walk during day and returned to site to eat, drink and relax after using on site facilities including the swimming pool. We had lovely weather and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We didn't use restaurant facilities but they looked fine.
