Went for a night as a surprise wiv off my partner.staff were welcoming.lovely lake to go for a walk.nice food.we stayed in a studio which was spacious and had everything you would need.defo stay again
Friendly staff, beautiful views, comfortable and well thought out lodge. Very easy to get to and find! Wish we could have stayed longer.
Food at the restaurant was fairly average, but still acceptable value for money
Peaceful yet active environment Good location for lake activities (don't miss the sunrise over the lake) and also visiting other beautiful areas within the Lake District
Liked everything about Pine Lake, lovely weekend, will return.
The location, and general facilities.
The disconnect between the kitchen and the hotel. B'fast was not until 09.30, yet latest checkout was 10 am!
Alistair the entertainer was brilliant. The staff were friendly and it was very relaxing
Everything was covered in cobwebs like the doors into the complex and especially the cabins. The pool table should be free
We loved the beautiful location, the excellent meals we had in the restaurant, the excellent studio we had. We wished we could have stayed longer and am sure we will be back. All the staff were also very helpful and informative. Perfect stay.
Lack of evening entertainment for adults
Beautiful scenes, quiet and relaxing. Friendly staff too. Dinner menu is delicious. Highly recommended (in good weather)
you almost have to pay for every other service. Leisure Center (pool/sauna/jaccuzi), laundry, and WiFi are NOT included in the fees.
We visited pine lake for our 3rd wedding anniversary and had a lovely time,we stayed in studio 10 and found it very clean, spacious and cosy with everything we needed,we visited the restaurant on the 1st night and our meal was lovely and very well presented too, booking in and out was simple and quick and all staff were very polite and helpful,we will definately be back again as soon as we can also we found the location of the resort good too
Mattress on bed was a little bit hard
the lodges were very clean with all the mod cons you could wish for and the staff were very polite and helpful
the charge for the swimming pool
The beds very horrible and uncomfy The lodge needed up dating We were put in a disabled adapted lodge at first which i wasnt pleased with All in all very dissapointed as it cost me £358 for 2 nights and coudnt wait to get home for a good nights sleep I thought it was to expensive for what we got
Had to pay for wifi!!
comfort of room was excellent facilities in room very good reception staff very pleasant
when we arrived we where asked for a holding deposit of £100 its now been 2 days since we checked out and my money is still tied up in my bank in my view this is unacceptable also we attempted to use the the swimming pool we where told we will need to pay extra am sure i do not need to explain our upset at this point also the room where where in was probably the closest to the main road as you can imagine the motorway exit was never quiet all in all not a pleasent experience over all
Lodges are a good size, well equipped & clean. Leisure centre is small but clean. We were in a lodge at the far end of the site as we had asked.
They have started charging for use of leisure centre, £10 per day ler lodge- not on really when you pay all that money to stay. Some lodges are getting tired & need some refurbishment. Although our lodge has had new windows from last year.
The location is good very near to the motorway.. The lake side is good.
It is not a good value for your money. For around 120£ a night the location and the room size is very poor it's more like a shed than a room with a toilet. If you are staying less than 3 days there is no housekeeping. Everything else is paid on the site. The site is a bit over rated. I explored some better location, better facilities, with cheaper rates which I will use next time. Thanks
Quiet and secluded site set around a pretty lake. Ideal location for easy day trip to the southern lakes or across to the Yorkshire dales.
Would be nice if they could just get a bit more land so that guests can walk right round the lake.
Setting, service, cleanliness, comfort.
Everything very relaxed my girlfriend would again and would relish the return ASAP thanks mr and mrs Gaines
Like it all can't complain
Location and lake activities are the best part.
Not much evening entertainment.
well I thought most entertainment was close by but my husband has cancer we had mould,in bathroom walls n ceiling and I payed 528 for 3nites I think was a bit steep it was 2 small would visit again but cheaper price and check no mould make sure it big enough not bumping into sofa too near patio door sofa arms very hard uncomfotable would like e mail bk if u can look into this no fone calls txt or emails please only thank you I av sent a txt and feed bk to you last month but havnt heard from u as yet with my husband aving cancer prefer an email not fone call as he just had bone marrow transplant hope you can look into this and maybe bring my husband back there to enyoy this treat I had the first time for im than you for listening to me christine may

Stayed here for one night in a 1 bed studio lodge. Lodge room itself was very nice, modern and comfortable with all essential amenities and modern appliances. We liked the fact that there was plenty to do, see, eat and enjoy on site and looked especially good for those with young families. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant and the steak diane and burger we ordered was perfect and cooked to perfection with the brownie desert the best I've ever tasted! Defo worth a visit. I also enjoyed some beauty treatments in the spa, 3x 20min treatments for £25 was excellent value and I really enjoyed my massages and facial. Claire the beautician was very friendly and helpful. I also think the hiring of recently released DVDs is a good idea to watch in the room at night although £3.50 seemed slightly expensive for one nights hire. Having an on site shop and arcade is very handy and the pool looked very inviting although we didn't go in due to time constraints. I think the £100 we paid to stay there was reasonable considering we could enjoy the night time entertainment also if we wanted and having everything so close and convenient at a reasonable additional cost for most things. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating and we will defo visit again next year.
Small bed, Expensive DVD rental, Expensive to use pool
the highlight of our stay was the lazy boy chairs
The musty smell of the place and had to pay for swimming pool and gym- these should be free for paying customer
Conveient location on the way to scotland. Great accomodation, loved the kayaking
