Phone calls to see how we were enjoying our stay, we were enjoying a snoozy snooze at the time.
We liked every minute of our stay!
lovely resort nice cabins pleasantly suprised
We got excellent rates and were bowled over by the beauty of the surroundings and quality of the accommodation. Everything was just perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Nothing. Everything was so perfect.
The scenery and cleanliness of the surrounding. The privacy and quiet.
The studio appt. doesn't have an oven. One of the rooms that my friend has stayed in rm 16 the heating is kit working, they were given portable heating sat night. The pool facility is not available free for all, we have to pay £10 which is a great deal of money per person just to use the pool!
For my purpose it was a good location. Clean and tidy.
The wifi didn't work and you paid £6+ a day to use it. I paid £18+for 3 days and got about an hour.I did mention it twice but got very little response. They seemed more interested in selling time share.
location and surroundings
we were given the disabled cabin which had a wet room rather than a shower and bath. not a major problem but with young children not ideal and were not told of this when we booked.
Location Price Comfort
Absolutely nothing. One would have to be a pretty unreasonable person to start complaining given the pricing point. Very good all round.
I loved how clean the room was and how the kitchen was facilitated with everything we could need, DVD rental was cheap and a good film selection.
I was never informed about the 100 pound deposit I had to give on arrival I booked with booking.com and it was a shock to me.
Lodges are fabulous, based around a peaceful lake. Very well equipped for dining in, but resort restaurant is also worth a visit.
Stayed for two nights November 2014. Was upgraded to a lodge which was really lovely. Plenty of room and great facilities. Lodge was clean and comfy a great base for exploring nearby Lancaster and Kendal.
Nothing. Perfect anniversary weekend. Just a shame about the weather.
Staff were really helpful organising my stay and when I arrived.
location accomodation and price
changed pricing for the use of the swimming and leisure pool
All! Location, facilities. Near places to vist. All great! :))) Great food and value for money. Will come again.
The bed and sofa bed were uncomfy.
The whole relaxes atmosphere. The studio lodges were lovely and clean and very comfy
everything. enjoyed our stay. kids meals great value for money and lovely food. great to have free hire of crazy golf clubs and tennis rackets.
a later check out would be nice
The studios are hidden away with no mention of this on booking luckily we managed to get an upgrade to a lodge for the 2nd day. This is probably not the fault of the pine lodge but probably the fault of booking.com
very relaxing the lodge had all you needed they were clean and comfortable bar and restaurant was very good and served good food and the staff were very pleasant all round.
Good range of food in the Restaurant Games room for kids Location DVD hire On site shop selling basics Parking outside lodge
Time share element, was not informed on booking we would be expected to attend a time share meeting, although did not attend this, it felt uncomfortable to be asked. Paying for the on site pool!
we liked the apartment the walks the buses out side the gates going to different places.we could park the car up till we left for home again the the pool sauna etc all very good the meals we had in the resturant were very good staff in all the areas were very helpful and friendly.
the only thing which did bother us was the light shineing in kitchen window at night could do with a black out blind
1. Upgraded to 2 bedroom from Studio. 2. Kitchen was well maintained 3. Lake view
1. Restaurant food, pizza was pathetic.
we liked the position of the lodge as it was near the leisure centre- which we visited every day- this was the best of part of the holiday although the children also enjoyed the zone
the outdoor play area only consisted of one item - the crazy golf was a bit battered and some litter around-(egg tray and take away tray)-h
Good location, reasonable food in restaurant. Swimming pool very good. Good value for money.
Extra cost for access to swimming pool seemed excessive at £10 per day. Lodge was supposed to accommodate 6 adults which would have been very cramped. We were 4 adults and 1 child. Also lodge smelt a bit damp.
- Our lodge was clean - Beautiful Location (and landscape) - Fully equipped kitchen - Good space, quite enviroment - Beds were very confortable - Private parking space - Swimming pool + children pool
- Diamond Resort presentation far too long (more than 3 hours!!! Taken away from our holiday of course) - Insistent salesman - No access to the lake for swimming or water activities like canoe - SPA facilities (swimming pool, sauna and steam room) + Gym are ALL extras! (Ten pounds per lodge per day) - Swimming pool: water temp it is not 28 degrees as stated but cooler. - Wifi is not included
