Pine Lake  

I requested a refurbished lodge with 2 bathrooms overlooking the lake and was extremely pleased my request was granted as it greatly enhanced the comfort of our stay. The facilities within the lodge, especially the kitchen, were excellent.

Although we had unlimited heating and hot water during our stay, we were surprised on our last morning to find that the hot water cut out before the 10am departure deadline leaving my son stranded under the shower!

Very enjoyable stay could not fault it. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, facilities were great and the resteraunt was excellent!! I had the lamb which was beautiful and looked great but my girlfriend is vegetarian an the options were limited so could possibly update the menu. Would defonately return.

I thought that pine lake's was really good value for money, really clean, and lots of facilities around the site. The reception staff provided lots of details for things to do etc. # Leisure centre looked good, but did not get chance to use it.

I was really surprised to find that we have been put into a lodge instead of the studio that I originally booked. This was a positive, as we gained extra room, more facilities and a lounge to sit in at night. The only thing that really let the place down was the noise from the train line, it was very noisy and was continuous through out the night. The settings are really lovely with lake, so if I was booking again I would check to see if I could be more away from the train line and main road.

The resort was amazing i would definitely go back and would recommend to others. There is plenty to do for adults and children and also a lovely place to go away for a relaxing weekend.

The food in the restaraunt/bar was disappointing - more like pub grub and average.

Relaxing - small but ideal pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and gym.

the room was good and the reception staff were warm, friendly and inviting. The staff made the stay at the resort more ejoyable by their friendly and approachable attitude towards us. They really are a credit to you at this resort. The resort is in a lovely setting and very peaceful.

The entertainment was very poor after detailing that a quiz was on they never held it and there was not enough seats for the number of people that were in the bar area. an entertainments room was available yet not used by the singer whom was sub-standard to say the least and only on for a small amount of time. It was that basis on the Friday night that we chose to stay in our studio room on the Saturday night to watch tv and drink there which was certainly not expected from a resort that is supposed to be of such a high standard.

Would have liked a later check out time without charge, as 10.00am is a little early.
