really nice room, good food, friendly and helpful staff

Restaurant was very good with a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful.

Great welcome. Food was excellent including vegetarian options. Small but sensible and affordable wine list. Clearly a work in progress (room refurb is ongoing so not all rooms yet renovated) but comfortable and clean with good breakfast options. Will be staying again I'm sure. Worth more than the average of 7.7. I'd give it an 8.5 due to the overall value and good service.

The breakfast was good. Staff were very polite and helpful, even altering my booking directly before I went and giving me directions.

It was comparatively cheap.

The rooms are far too small. Not enough electical points. Standard tv Channels missing ie bbc 2. Early morni9ng call ordered but did not happen. Waiting too long for food in restaurant after ordering.

Being allocated a top floor room and unable to enter as the key card was not coded correctly.Cooked breakfast did not live up to the description on the menu and was overcooked.Dust around the bedroom furniture bases.

The shower was only luke warm in the morning. The room was a little tired.

The situation and convenience, we came from North London and it was very easy to get to and very close to Berry Hill Park which was the reason for coming to Mansfield. The staff were all charming and if we come back to Mansfield again next year for the same event, we will definately return to 281.

We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, breakfast very good, dinner was excellent.

room tired and dated, the sink did not match the bath and toilet. The person on reception when we checked in was helpful but not very pleasant.

Location, friendly staff

Location was good to me but its a bit far from the city (check the map). Breakfast was good and also hotel staff was very kind too.

Shower at #212 was broken.

Near my Office Interior design if the breakfast room

The room was extremely small, one could say, this was formally the closet compartment, which was eventually converted to a single occupant room. This was back packer quality sold for 3-star b&b price Secondly, the TV set was tiny and the picture was blurred for almost every chanel Unfortunately, this was very disappointing exerience

Staff were excellent very friendly, they even changed our room to the first floor so we didn't have to climb stairs to the top of the house. The night porter was great as we left our door card back at a party with family, he was and we sat with a glass of wine, he chatted as he worked! Had a family dinner at the hotel, food was excellent and staff brilliant, we plan to stay there again very soon. Breakfast was great as well.

Water in the shower not very hot but other than that nothing .

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The prices were very fair.

The room could have been cleaner although the bed was very clean and fresh. I think the owners are in the process of refurbishing so perhaps this room hasn't yet been done.

Clean and comfortable, a bit dated. Needs to be refurbished.
