Reception was helpful and we were allowed into the room early The bed was so hard my partner and I both had bad back and hips after sleeping on a bed that didnt seem to have a mattress on it.

The staff were really friendly, although you knew they were there they also left you alone to do your own thing. Clearly a family run establishment where we had a really family friendly room. We had 2 single and a double bed within the room that fitted comfortably with plenty of walking space, with 2 children you usually end up with at least one of them on some kind of 'put me up' style bed.

Lovely place to stay, had a really nice new year hear with my girlfriend, for all ages really positive atmosphear. No complaints lovely place =]

Overall it was a very pleasant stay at a very good quality establishment who I would have no hesitation in recommending. Games room was a bonus and we would definitely stay again.

An all round very enjoyable experience. Excellent and friendly hosts, with good beer, very good breakfasts and good value for money. Would stay at Pine Lodge again and happy to recommend it to anyone.

Relaxing but efficient service. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and a comfortable room. We were at a wedding nearby needed an overnight stay and it fitted the bill perfectly for us.

the breakfast I thought i was going to a 4 star hotel it was old, dated and tired. I was led to believe the room was onsuite, the shower and toilet were in the size of a cupboard and the sink was in the bedroom, the opposite end to the bathroom. this was more like a 2 star. how do they get away with this?

Hotel owner very welcoming.Made to feel like an individual,not just another booking! Good parking.Storage available for bikes a definate plus. Very squeeky bed in twin room.Snoring to be heard from other rooms,either side.

We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival. We liked the fact of being not too close to the bars of Newquay. The rooms were a nice size and the Breakfast was excellent. Would definately reccommend staying here.

Easy to find. Easy to walk to beach and town center. Peaceful and quiet. Great heated pool. Nice size family room. Breakfast great with good variety. Beds were too hard. Ensuite could not lock.

The outdoor heated swimming pool was great! The breakfast was really good and they had a bar on the premises from 6pm. The owners were really friendly and they came and tidied our room everyday with fresh clean towels. The bed was old and uncomfortable it also madelots of noise this was the only complaint as everything else was perfect!

Location. Price . Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking. Bed was too small for my partner who is 6'4! And bed was very creaky.

Excellent heated swimming. convenient location & good breakfasts. Our main complaint is that the "ensuite" bathroom was not very ensuite because the wash basin was not in the bathroom but in the bedroom which is not very hygienic in my opinion. Another complaint is the very narrow shaped bathroom leaving little room to dry yourself after bathing.!

Nothing. I thought the room was very dated and in very bad condition. There was an internet link which failed several times an hour. The room cost £78 per night and the sign on the reception desk stated that the room should have been less. I stay in hotels and guest houses 5 days a week 47 weeks a year. This hotel should cost no more than £50 per night. Very disappointed
