Unfortunately an Irish party of approx 30 people stayed in the hotel on Saturday night, fighting in the grounds after midnight, at 3.30 a.m. I went down to the bar and asked them to sort it out the lady in charge was too busy serving customers with alcohol. this was all taking place under our windows, the language was terrible people where falling over customers cars in the ground. In the end my husband rang the police, who did attend the hotel and calmed it down, but it start ed up again, they went to bed approx 4.30 a.m. and all we could hear in our bedrooms was abuse between the people in the next bedrooms. I did report it next morning at breakfast we had 200 miles to drive, shattered

The staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast and the food in the bar was excellent and great value. Had a problem with the heat in the room. Unbelievably it was too hot.

The Breakfast was good... We had 2 rooms booked and they were cramped..One of the rooms the bed linen was not clean and the tap in the bathroom was dripping all night. For the same money we could have stayed in Hilton Garden Inn in stopsley..We are not big alcohol drinkers but when we got back to the Pines we said we would like a drink so we asked the barmaid at 11:35pm could we have a drink and the reply was I can give you a drink but you will have to bring it up to your room. But it is printed in black and white in the rooms that alcohol would be served until 1am if required. There was also another man drinking alcohol at the bar when we asked the barmaid..Avoid this place...

Very relaxed and accommodating. We arrived late but there was no fuss. Room very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The information both on line and in the hotel stated we could have breakfast until 10 A.M. but when we arrived it was only until 9 A.M.If times change it should state this.

Room was neat and clean and the shower was very good and lovely and warm! We just stayed for one night (late arrival/very early departure for our flight) so it was fine. Heating in the room was too hot and the reception area is not exactly welcoming although the staff were fine.

Bed was comfortable and bed linen exceptionally clean. Good choice breakfast. Our room was small - double bed against the wall, which meant I had to climb over husband to get out - but we did not ask to be moved. There were late night drinkers who were very noisy, although we were able to get to sleep.

Hotel is incorporated in an Irish run pub. As we all know, the Irish are renowned for their hospitality. Hotel was conveniently located and easy to find and staff were friendly and helpful. Very busy pub and great if you like the craic. We stayed on a saturday night and there was a race night event on and a disco later which went on until the early hours. Great if you are a social person like us but not recommended at the weekend if you like a good nights sleep. From our point of view no complaints. Excellent value for money.

Very unpleasant receptionist. A room on top of a pub lounge (this was not mentioned). Loud music, laughing and singing until 4:00am !! Couldn't sleep at all. Tiny bathroom with poor light.Very far away from Luton airport. £15 charge for taxi instead of the 10 announced. Cet hôtel est purement et simplement une arnaque. Il ne devrait pas figurer dans ce site.

The bed was very comfortable and the full english breakfast was excellent, well cooked and did not skimp on the quantity or quality There were people singing on the landing at 1am, followed by someone trying to open our door at 3am. I think they got the wrong room, but it was frightening and both myself and my husband didn't sleep well which was a shame because the bed was really comfy. however overall the hotel was good except for the noise due mostly do ireland playing football and it being an irish put so there it was probably more roudy than usual.

The only thing that we found to be satisfactory was the excellent breakfast We are a not so young couple and found that having to climb narrow steep stairs to the very tiny claustrophobic room in the attic was very difficult.. We were worried about there being no instructions on what to do should a fire break out and could see no visible means of escape in such circumstances. This is a pub with rooms and should not be described as a hotel. After complaining we were offered a drink and a free evening meal. We ordered cheese on toast and had to wait for an incredibly long time for the dining room to be prepared and the food to arrive. As I have recently had a knee operation I felt the whole experience caused me further pain and distress..
