As soon as we arrived, the staff were on hand to assure us we should treat the hotel like a 'home from home'. That's what we did and boy did we settle into 'chill out' mode really quickly. The excellent manners and attention to detail weas a joy to see. .... having to return to work after 2 wonderful days away !

The hotel was stunning with log fires on cool evenings and comfortable lounges and bar. The restaurant was very attractive and beautifully decorated with first class food and service. The staff were very attentive and ensured that our every need was catered for. We had a fantastic suite with very large bedroom and bathroom together with a dressing room and a room for make-up etc. It was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable and huge. We could not fault anything.

An efficient dining room serving excellent food. We were served and waited on by a very friendly and helpful staff each of whom gave special attention to us. We find it flattering to be reminded precisely when we were at the hotel last. Without the aid of hotel records!!

The minute you arrived the staff were very helpful at reception and for collecting our bags from the car.The room we were in had a comfortable sitting room from the bedroom, and ensuite bathroom all very well presented. Dinner in the Garden Restuarant was of a high standard and served with a smile, coffee was served in the lounge that had a roaring log fire. Through out the hotel every aspect of it was to a high standard, Breakfast was as good as the dinner the night before with choice and serves to match. We will be back sooner rather than later.

Old country mansion. Very good food and quiet relaxing atmosphere. Some really nice seating areas. Big log fire as you enter main lounge. Very helpful staff. Our room was very spacious and clean with lovely bathroom and toiletries. Lovely choice of teas in the room. The log fire is in the main lounge and if door to lounge is open it is quite draughty. The dining room was quite cool. Also there were plenty of tables but most were seated at tables next to each other which wasnt necessary as it wasn't full.

Very friendly staff, nothing was a problem. Great to have a roaring fire to sit in front of after dinner. If you are looking for a hotel to chill out and sample some fantastic food then this is the one to choose. No loud tv's in the lounge or music to distract from the fabulous lounge and bar area where you would settle in the comfy sofa's and the staff were always there to serve you with drinks. Would certainly stay there again.

I have stayed at numerous hotels but this was the best. The service from the staff was exceptional, they were extremely attentive and nothing was too much bother. The food was also excellent. I have already been telling family and friends about our stay at the Pine trees hotel and will certainly be back. The location is ideal for sight seeing in this area and the Hotel is in a very attractive and secluded area up on the hill from Pitlochry. The town is within walking distance and the people there were very friendly. Excellent stay.

A superb and well maintaned hotel with excellent staff and facilities. The location may be tricky with bad weather say snow and ice as it is located at the top of a hill.
