everything about the hotel was nice! location, staff, room, ensuite bathroom (both very spacious - especially compared to other UK-Hotels). Even though we were among the last guests for this years season, we were treated best possible. Special wishes were taken care of.
The beds are very soft, but nothing to complain about.. At the end of the season, public transport was a bit difficult, as some busses (coastal-line) had already stopped for the winter or gone very rarely... This had nothing to do with the hotel, only with the Isle of wight transport system itself... But it helped us become fitter, walking to the station and busstation every day :-)
Great location and the hosts were very helpful and informative. Make sure you book a sea view room. Lovely to wake and see the sea and hear the waves. Good food within walking distance.
No parking although there is paid parking on the beach front.
The staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean. We had a lovely time and would recommend it.
Well worth upgrading to a seaview room. Could lie in king size bed and look out to sea. Breakfast very nice, plenty of choice. Rooms very clean.
Only slight problem was TV kept losing signal and live music next door, right under our window, at weekend but it stopped about 11pm so not too bad.
Location was great and nice service
The bed was rock hard and really hurt my back and even with the blanket under the sheet it made no difference.
Location was great with a lovely view and good bars and restaurants within easy reach. Good breakfast, efficient and friendly service. Comfortable lounge and plenty of tourist information.
shower too low on the wall
Very nice view from the rooms, kind staff and a decent breakfast. ~10 minutes from major bus lines, ~15 minutes from train station and few minutest from the ocean. Great restaurants nearby
Wonderful 2 nights stay at this guest house. Very friendly owners, who made us feel very welcome. Good location and easy access to the old town. Good breakfast too. All in all a very pleasant stay and we would recommend this guest house.
Lovely breakfast lovely view and you should go there to
Great location, clean. Sea view. Staff at times helpful.
Lino table covers. Poor, limited, breakfast, badly cooked, with slightly disrespectful service. Old towels, some musty. Weak 1960's shower. Would expect much more for the price.
The Pink Beach has everything you need for a stay in the Isle of Wight. The staff were friendly and informative, they also have a lot of brochures and materials available for you to take. The breakfast was fantastic. Hat's off to the chef! The poached eggs were perfect. Rooms are kept tidy and clean and you get free wifi in the rooms too which is a bonus! Very comfortable stay.
The location was suberb right on the beach front. We had a room with a seaview which was superb. Everything we needed was on hand and the room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and service was brilliant.
Absolutely couldn't fault anything.
Fantastic location and views. Close to all amenities
Located by the sea. Close to the bus stop and main attractions in the area. Very clean, quiet and the staff are helpful and friendly
Location being right opposite the beach. Vegetarian option for breakfast. Polite but felt they were somewhat introverted hosts.
Difficult shower. Sink in room. Unable to get any TV channels other than BBC1 and BBC2 (no signal) and nearly scalded myself when making a cup of a tea as kettle leaked.p
Lovely hotel run by lovely people. Excellent food and the views are great. Would definitely recommend
Nothing bad to say
Helen & Michael were very kind & made us feel very much at home from day one. Nothing was too much trouble. Because I am severely disabled & didn't realise the amount of stairs involved around the property, I was offered breakfast in my room if the stairs proved too much at that time of day. The breakfasts were lovely & fresh each day. They even took time out to sit & chat with us outside of an evening. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again...Thank you Helen & Michael.
Although we had an absolutely stress free & lovely holiday here I would strongly advise looking else where if anyone has a mobility problem & can't manage stairs as there are a lot. Unfortunately the photo on site we saw appears only to show the top rail with two steps on Garden level, but there are around 8 more from pavement to Garden, then full flight up to bedrooms.
The guest house is right on the beach. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. They have a very comfortable lounge looking out over the sea. We had a lovely twin bed room with comfortable beds. There was also a fan, hairdryer, tea & coffee facilities and best of all a fridge. On day of arrival there were two bottles of water and a jug of fresh milk waiting for us. The owners and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Location, beach and several good restaurants within yards.
Parking . You have to use public parking which is costly, and at peak times hard to find although there is a small car park next to it if you are able to find a space
A very comfortable stay with an excellent welcome for our short break. Happy to recommend.
Loved everything : location, room, food and also staff were great!
Location. Being given a fan tower as the room was so hot. Tea/coffee making facilities.
TV reception. Really needs looking into to. Not having a sea view something should have been done to the dead flower in the pots out side of the window. Parking charges/restrictions
Excellent location very comfortable and clean.Very friendly staff,I would highly recommend.
