This is the 3rd time I have stayed there and cannot fault the hotel or staff in anyway
The whole experience was great excellent staff food great and always feel welcome when we stay, room service so quick, cannot fault anything.Thank you
The location was ideal for where we needed to go first thing in the morning. Our office booked double instead of twin room but receptionist was able to change our room and was very helpfull. Harvey bar had excellent bar food at reasonable price. Bed was really confortable. I left my phone charger in the room and they posted it on to me and i recieved it the next day.
Comfortable room; good selection at breakfast - a self service, and plenty of choice. Initial impressions were of a slightly unwelcoming staff but this was soon dispelled and in fact the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful.
On the map the hotel seemed well placed for walking to see the historic attractions of Dunfermline, but in reality the walk was down a busy dual carriageway - though we realised after there were regular buses. Would have liked to be offered a vegetarian option for breakfast - expected at this standard.
Plenty of staff available and great value for money with breakfast included. Breakfast was of excellent standard and very clean hotel. Bar fair value for money
Bistro food was very poor standard in its cost and choices. Choices selected on night of penne was extremely bland, and the prawn in tempura starter was poor (5 small prawns) and overpriced (nearly £6).
Great value fir money
The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially how they dealt with an issue.
Another guest had left 2 large dogs in their hotel room who were happily barking away, who knows how long for. The staff moved us to what i guess was an upgradedroom with 4 poster and jacuzzi
Everything was good breakfast was excellent as was the meals in the bistro. Special mention to Becky on reception she was bubbly and chatty and was keen to make sure all was ok with your stay at the hotel !!!
only a small thing but a very important thing i think would be when in the restaurant having a meal a few minutes after you have received your meal the person who gave you that meal returned and asked if everything is ok.
Friendly staff and reasonably priced food.
Hotel is a little tired in places and parking can be a problem when they have functions.
Room was huge and spotless, very comfortable and warm, great views and very quiet.
Friendliness, comfort and being able to relax in lovely surroundings
Good location for where we were visiting the next day and two bar/restaurants to use.
On arrival when we went into the bathroom it clearly hadn't been cleaned as there were shavings in the sink and hair on the floor and in the bath. The staff kindly moved us to another room where we experienced a similar problem.
Thin walls unruly guests
Pleasant hotel, quiet, Bistro food good (there is also a restaurant). Staff exceedingly helpful and friendly.
nothing to complain about
My husband had a bad knee & we were offered a ground floor room. The room was clean, quiet, warm with a comfortable bed. Always stay here if we are in Dunfermline
quiet location but not far from city centre by car. Large room with everything you need including tea/coffee making facilities. Near main roads south/north so great hotel for overnight stay too
we had difficulty finding the hotel
Food very good, staff generally friendly.
No face cloths or tissues in bedrooms.Bedroom clean but in need of refurb.
Staff were very attentive and helpful.
No porridge for breakfast!
Access to wi fi was intermittent
Good size room with everything you would need, staff very helpful
the second time I stayed the hotel was very busy and got quite noisy in the evening with people in the corridors
Staff were really friendly
Bedroom temperature was too hot
The wifi worked really fine everywhere! the receptionists and cleaners were wonderful: really helpful and friendly.
the tub was old and I almost burned my hands because the cold and warm water don't mix. The continental breakfast was a bit too simple - one had tot ask for cheese or ham.
Lovely staff, food was good.
Dinner and buffet breakfast very good and all staff helpful and friendly.
Bedrooms dated with shower over bath, but still comfortable and clean.
