One of the best B&B experiences I've had! Such friendly and helpful hosts, lovely decor, and all the little extras. Comfortable & quiet room, good wifi, free water, sodas, ect in room- huge resource room for guests. Great breakfasts too. The only not perfect thing is the location, and that's even not bad- maybe 10-15 minute walk into town. And the host will even park your car for you in the free lot!

The rooms were lovely - nicely decorated and comfortable. John and Jan were really helpful, friendly and accommodating during our stay. Nice breakfast too. It is a good location for walking into the centre of Perth, as only 5-10 mins away, and easy access to the great outdoors. Nothing.

This was the best guest house we have ever stayed in. The accommodation was of a very high standard and had everything you could possibly need provided in your room. the breakfast was also of a high standard. The owners, John & Jan were the nicest of people and were keen to provide anything you might need to ensure an enjoyable visit. John also had a vast knowledge of the local area and it's history and was keen to advise on the best places to visit. The Pitcullen is a 10-15 minute walk from Perth town centre so is the perfect location for your visit. Thank you to John & Jan for their hospitality.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast very fresh and high quality. Very warm (it was freezing outside) lots of special touches I.e. filtered water at bedside, numerous choices of tea, up to date mags and books in the snug room. All in all a cosy guest house, home from home but not intrusive. Would definitely stay again

Nice room with sitting room next door. It's nice to get a fridge in your room, along with a tv and en-suite bathroom. Little touches like an electric blanket make a great package. Breakfast was fantastic too.

The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. A personal service far better than you'd get at any large hotel.

The owner is very knowledgable, knowing all of the tourist attractions and can lead visitors to the desired location using plenty of routes and shortcuts. Also, every place that he suggested are suitable for children to explore. The breakfast meals are quite good, with plenty to choose from. Though a bit far from the town centre, however, the Guest House is quite near the Scone Palace. Overall, very good indeed. Almost nothing at all was bad, though it may just be a little far from the town centre. Still, the Guest House was just 10-15 minutes by walking to the Perth Museum and Art Gallery.

Run by an extremely dedicated and hospitable couple who go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. They are also very knowledgable about the local sight seeing areas and very helpful in suggesting a good tourist run! I guess the parking space will need to be expanded when they are full!

Friendly, helpful welcome and service. Information provided on area. Cleanliness. Fridge containing a selection of soft drinks. Good windows - ventilation. Shower, though electric, worked well. Would have like a small soap bar rather than liquid. Beds a bit low and hard. Breakfast was good - Fresh fruit was appreciated, perhaps only comment would be that the sausages were not great + perhaps some field mushrooms would have been a nice addition. Above meant as helpful comments - we very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend the Pitcullen.

The guest house was very convenient for what we wished to do. The owners were exceptionally helpful with any information we required. The room and ensuite were beautifully clean and thoughtfuly arranged. We did enjoy our stay. The other guests were introduced to us and it made a great start to the day. The only minor problem was the parking...it took a little juggling.

the location is ideal. close enough to the city centre (only 10 minutes walk) and just far enough out not to be bothered by heavy traffic noise at night. a very warm friendly atmosphere. very helpful and to top it off for me. everyone was introduced to each other at the breakfast table, for me this helped stimulate conversation and generate a great atmosphere amongst the visitors.
