The hosts are very welcoming and cant do enough to please. Recommendations for local food were excellent. The room was clean, tidy and snug.
you have to be very careful on exit out from the property onto the road. wasnt sure where the dining area was for breakfast in the morning.
Beautiful cottage with a very warm welcome excellent breakfast
Nothing negative about accommodation but if you want to eat locally you would be advised to book as can be busy
Welcome and unfussy appropriate help and attention.
Very welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was excellent.
The welcome. Attentive but not intrusive owners.
the hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant. Would recommend Plantation Cottage to anyone.
the bed was a little soft but this of course is a matter of taste. Others may find the bed perfect.
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The English breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this guesthouse if you are in the area!
Everything about the place. The owners were brilliant and extremely helpful and it was a charming cottage. The breakfasts were cooked as and when required, and were plentiful and well presented.
The WiFi was disappointing to say the least. Most of the time it was unavailable, and when it was available it was to slow to be of use. I was informed that they were awaiting a BT engineer to sorts things out, but as far as my visit went it was useless.
The 17th century cottage was delightful and our hosts could not have been more friendly, helpful or welcoming. We were there for a sad occasion, so we would definitely like to choose this for a longer stay next time. With views of the estuary through the trees and the surrounding area to explore, the Cottage was perfect.
A second stay for me at this charming B&B in a beautiful corner of England with personal welcome and attendance from the owners. Comfortable suite like room and great shower - all spotless. Special thanks Victor for getting up early on Sunday to sort my 7am breakfast out before a sport event, much appreciated. This place genuinely warrants the 'exceptional' rating it has achieved here.
sadly, sound travels from the neighbouring room.
Excellent B & B, very pleasant hosts, great breakfast!
Very friendly, lovely place to stay - would stay there again.
The setting ,peace and quite ,good hosts ,good breakfast, the horse, advice on how to walk to our destination.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable for a back sufferer,
Just about everything: friendly, hospitable hosts; good-sized, nicely-furnished room (plus a small dressing room); comfortable bed; excellent breakfast - all at a very reasonable price, in a beautiful property. We also met a friendly horse in the stable. Will stay there again (in the house, not the stable).
A little difficult to find, although that might be our satnav getting confused and taking a convoluted route from the A6. It seemed much easier to find our way back than to get there.
The cottage is stunning, the room was clean and comfortable. Loved seeing the horse in his stable. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and there was a lot of choice at breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay
There wasnt anything we disliked.
The hosts were most friendly.
piece and quite friendly owners nothing was to much trouble for them
The spacious rooms. The welcome and attention of our host. The beautifully cooked breakfast.
Everything....it was a perfect stay.
We had a very warm welcome...nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. Definatly be back x
