Lovely country house with history. Beautiful, serene location. Excellent hosts & gourmet food.

I just wouldn't stay in the Judges room again.....the wonky floor was a bit too "wonky"!

Does feel like staying with friends. interesting house with lots of history and royal connections Nice touches of luxury - fresh milk in the rooms for tea and coffee, complimentary bottled water every day Good cooking Lovely furniture

The noisy toilet macerator! OK as long as you don't flush the toilet or even run the taps at night! understand why it needs to be there though - it was an experience.... staying there is quite expensive but lots for your money, up to standard of similarlypriced luxury hotels.

it was very clean and comfortable, the men who run the hotel leave you to your self but are there if you need them. It was quiet and peaceful. The food was good , it would have been nice to be able to try an evening meal, but they do not offer one Sunday and Monday, the food was good at the places they recommended.

Very attractive style country house with some original features, but rooms, tastefully decorated and modern looking. Rooms excellent with touch of class. Hosts are excellent that make you feel right at home, they clearly have very good attention to detail. Very clean and excellent food. Location relaxing.

The only negative was we would have liked to stay for longer. We will be going back and staying longer next time!

Très beau cadre. Intérieur parfait.Dommage que le bâtiment soit d'aspect quelque peu négligé.Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
