The noisy toilet macerator! OK as long as you don't flush the toilet or even run the taps at night! understand why it needs to be there though - it was an experience.... staying there is quite expensive but lots for your money, up to standard of similarlypriced luxury hotels.

It is not what you will expect from 5-star hotel, but it is more like visiting friends for weekend in country house. Service is very personal and friendly. They really make an effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The accommodation has seen better days though, and an antique wardrobe in Judges Room, although very sweet, doesn't fit in a coat hanger in the straight line as it is only 40cm deep. Breakfast and dinner was very nice. The position is convenient for sightseeing and Snowdonia. In overall, we've enjoyed our stay and will recommend it.

üBerragender Service, ganz toll eingerichtetes Haus mit wirklich englischem Flair - genaus wünscht man sich'S. Die Zimmer sind penibel sauber und mit Antiquitäten eingerichtet, wir waren begeistert. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und umsichtig. Es wurde an jede Kleinigkeit gedacht. Adeliges Ambiente im positivsten Sinn.
