This small, friendly, family run hotel provides modern facilities whilst retaining the character and atmosphere of a property dating back to 1850.

You can choose between rooms in the original building which offer the charm of yesteryear, or stay in the modern executive rooms in the Plas Elwy Lodge which offer more space and facilities.

The delightful, intimate restaurant with exposed beams and stone fireplace, offers a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes to suit most tastes and budgets. These can be accompanied by a well-chosen selection of reasonably priced wines.

Small functions are catered for.

Our cosy bar, with unusual tiled roof and beamed ceiling, has an informal atmosphere and offers a pleasant area to relax with a drink before your meal.

Take advantage of the Wi-Fi internet access is available in the Residents' Lounge in the annexe.

Food & beverage

Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 09:00 Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 to 09:00 at the weekend.

Dinner is served from 18:30 until 20:30 Monday to Saturday.
The restaurant is closed on Sunday but meals are available locally.

Area information

The hotel is ideally situated as a base for exploring the beautiful North Wales countryside and places of historical interest. The popular seaside towns of Prestatyn, Rhyl and Colwyn Bay are also a short drive away.

The spectacular National Park of Snowdonia is only a 45 minutes drive away, and the Roman city of Chester, with its excellent shopping, is less than 30 minutes away. There are 9 golf courses within a 15 mile radius.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. If you were in before 10 pm there was secure parking at the rear of the hotel. If later the car was safe on the front car park. The hotel is reaching the stage where it's looking 'a bit tired'.	7.5
