Such a lovely little town! So peaceful and calm! As soon as you step out of the train, you can feel the difference! The air is clean! People are lovely and friendly! Oh and the beach is so breathtaking! Not much entertainment if you have very active kids like mine but if you go when the weather is nice then the beach will keep them busy for the whole day!

Pleasant, but possibly a little old fashioned for younger visitors. Lovely wide and sandy beaches. Beautiful villages and countryside behind Prestatyn, great for walkers and cyclists, and Prestatyn is a good start for visiting historic North Wales.

Staff were not interested in selling caravans, was unable to purchase a meal in the main venue because we did not prebook. We weren't informed of this before hand so we left the following morning disappointed. Hopefully you will learn from this I worked for Borne Leisure years ago so I know how to treat patrons.

A great destination if you don't want to take the car.
A great destination if you don't want to take the car. The town centre and beach are a short walk from the train station. There are direct trains to London, Manchester, Birmingham... The seafront has lots of stuff for rain or shine (beach with good sand, a soft play centre an indoor swimming pool, a playground, cafés and restaurants). We had a lovely time.

It's very much a holiday site designed for young families with children aged 3 t0 17 on a budget.
The mini supermarket on site sells all the food you need , every newspaper, bathroom items and even buckets and spades for the kids on the beach
The Bluecoat entertainment was TV quality
Outstanding and so well choreographed
The reception staff and site maintenance staff bend over backwards to help
I'd give Prestatyn Sands a 10 + star rating if one was allowed to do so
What a wonderful find. A beautifully furnished, well equipped apartment. We loved the comfortable bed, amazing shower, fully equipped modern kitchen and the great living and dining area. Catherine is a wonderful host, very easy to communicate with and her instructions for check- in and how to use the shower,, heating, appliances etc are so well done and easy to follow. I would absolutely recommend Catherine's apartment and look forward to staying again next time we're in Prestatyn.
Very clean and comfortable bungalow. Garden safe for the dog and garden furniture available to relax. The hot tub was a bonus.
The bungalow is in a residential road located back from the main road and as bedrooms located on the back of the property it was quiet enough for sleeping. A short walk to the beach but also conveniently located to go to other North Wales resorts by car.
There is a shop, pub and fish and chip shop just a few minutes walk away
The house is newly decorated and very clean. It is in a quiet residential area and is in walking distance to Prestatyn shops and railway station. The beds in all rooms are very comfortable, and there is plenty of space in all the rooms for a large family to stay. There are 2 tvs and 2 very modern bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook and there is a very nice enclosed garden. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
We loved everything about The Old Wash House and location. Very snug and cozy. All the facilities were very conveniently placed and everything you could need for a peaceful stay.
Lyz was friendly and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and the location was perfectly convenient for the town centre, beach local convenience store and train station.
A very dog friendly area with beautiful walks being an extra bonus.
Convenient location near Prestatyn with a good car park;
Pleasant spacious room with desk and sitting area;
Good shower room and ample provision for tea-&-coffee.
The breakfast was excellent, served with real care and
attention to detail by very friendly and welcoming staff.
It was a most enjoyable few days and I look forward to
returning in the future. Thank you.
The Old Wash House is so comfortable and peaceful. Tucked away for quietness too. It was perfect. Lyz is so friendly and kind and provides a great base in Prestatyn for exploring locally and further in North Wales. There is everything you can think of that’s needed for a stay away from home. I will definitely be hoping to come back again to this wonderful place.
My expectations were for a budget hotel , no frills and that's what I got!
If you are looking for bells and whistles , look elsewhere . The room was clean , the bed was ok , I slept well enough and the breakfast was good. There is parking , there is a pub , there is wifi, everything I needed for a very brief visit to North Wales.
We been going every year since my kids where toddler's and they still love it just as much now at 16+14 we have a short break every year at prestatyn pontins we wudnt miss it for nothing ....😊
This is a making memories with kiddies hoilday but summit for all ages
Breakfast items left for us was nice touch. Bread, milk, cereals and croissants along with tea and coffee. Location is great for going in to Prestatyn and Rhyl literally a 5 minute drive and the views from property were stunning. Would stay again!
Lovely apartment to rest after going round places. All needed facilities including a co-op very nearby, fuel station and parking. Quite area with mountain view. Not too far from the main attractions of north wales.
Top quality, better than a 5stars hotel, the host was very friendly and welcoming (breakfast ready, milk in the fridge, shower gel, clean beddings and towels) Amazing sunset 🌅, crescent 🌙 and sea 🌊 view
Very nice place. Lovely, clean and comfortable. Great location, close to the beach, shopping park and to explore North Wales. Responsible host, great communication. Good value for money.
The chalet was roomy, and had everything we needed for a couple of nights. It was reasonably clean. Great price. Holiday camp a good base to explore North wales from, and near the beach.
Hot tub was amazing. Both bedrooms were very comfortable. Lots of space with separate living room and big kitchen. Great location to explore north Wales. Would definitely stay again.
Everything! Clean, good location, amazing hot tub, nice garden, comfy beds and sofas, 5 minutes to the beach, dog friendly, you just can't expect more than this!
It's a bit tired and quite basic but actually a perfectly decent cheap hotel that did the job when I just wanted a dry place to stay post Offa's Dyke walk.
