Close to the main Road
The nearest suitable eating establishment is 3 miles away but, it was very good - perhaps consideration should be given to providing a simple evening meal, provided of course, that it is pre booked
Very clean and tidy, good sized rooms with Sky TV and WiFi.
Very good welcome. delicious breakfasts, not least the Plas Mawr marmalade. I did not do the place justice: i just wanted to travel to Machynlleth and Aberystwyth. Much to see aroung E.F.
The service was excellent and breakfast was good
The room was very small and not enough space to put things i.e. suitcase etc the bedside cabinets were too small to be useful and the mattress was very thin and of poor quality - does not warrant £80 a night and not somewhere I would recommend
We thout thout our stay was great...enjoyed the room and breakfast was delicious. ..
Ideal location for our mini break, would not hesitate to recommend to any potential users of this accommodation.
Bed was very comfortable and owner was very friendly. Wi-Fi and TV (Sky) worked well.
We had a room at the front - the traffic noise was bad even with the windows and the double-glazing fully closed which then made the room very airless and stuffy. There was a glass shelf over the basin that was loose and at an angle - potential dangerous if anyone had unwittingly put a glass on it. Fittings and general feel was a bit 'hotel-like' and unimaginative. Bit over-priced at £80 for room - £55 would be nearer the mark.
Very comfortable B&B with really nice personnel. Breakfast was very good. Packed lunch was available which was convenient for my birding trips.
No restaurant nearby. Not a problem if you have car
We had a delightful 2-night stay, with a full breakfast and solid sleep in a bucolic setting. Our hostess was conversational but not imposing. We felt welcomed, cared for, and given great value.
Nearness to ynys-hir
Comfortable room, handy location on the main road but with off road parking.
For two people what I paid would have seemed a fair price for the room I had. However, as a solo traveller, it was expensive, irrespective of my booking the B&B through an online agency rather than booking direct. The ten pound reduction for solo travellers "subject to availability" was not offered for a mid week one night stay.
The location to the bird reserve was perfect. Our lovely hostess Tina made sure we were comfortable and all our needs we're met. Great breakfast, too!
The room was beautiful, cleaned each day, plenty selection at breakfast, the full Welsh breakfast was cooked to perfection, it was leisurely and un hurried, a selection of tea, porridge was delicious , our room was spacious and clean, look forward to going back, thank you for a lovely stay x
Nothing to write here!
Pleasant attitude of owners,, Very helpful when I thought I had lost room key. As only visitors on this day was shown and given choice of the three rooms. Excellent breakfast.
All of it the room was lovely , the food was fantastic, and the owners were great people.
The kind reception The room was large and comfortable. A nice breakfast
Charming building, well decorated and not over-modernised. Tina was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay again
