Would definitely stay again all staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble meals at b & b were excellent including evening meal
Room Parking Accessibility Breakfast
Not enough fish in fish pie and also onion in it! Would like to have had the opportunity to order a paper
The breakfast was excellent, the location was good and the room was quite large. The wi-fi was very good.
The bed was quite hard and the chair in the room was uncomfortable.
Good rooms, excellent food prepared for each individual rather than the cook in a bag alternative offered by many chain pub/restaurants and considerate service.
everything except price of drinks.

Convenient access. Very large room. Restaurant food excellent. Breakfast Excellent
Needs some maintenance.
Very spacious room Good access at all times Near to Abergavenny centre Friendly helpful staff
Room needed refurb especially bathroom though shower is brilliant! Bed squeaked but otherwise comfy Breakfast choice of eggs benedict awful! Muffin stale sauce bright yellow so not freshly made and salmon poor quality!
Nice comfortable bedroom and big bathroom. Very pleasant restaurant serving good quality food at competitive prices. Handy location right next to the major A-roads.
No phone signal, but maybe that's EE...?
Spacious and quiet annexe room.
Uncomfortably hard chairs in bedroom. TV too high for comfortable viewing.
Only short walk to town and train station Good, on site, parking Welcoming staff Comfy bed
Nothing to dislike
staff very helpful and friendly ample free parking nice breakfast easy to find on main route into abergavenny
Large well equipped room, comfortable beds, quiet location
Great beds. Good food, excellent service.
No mobile coverage, not Plas Derwen's fault.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food was great.
Woodchip wallpaper in the room.
Separate and purpose built twin bedded accommodation with adjacent parking. Varied breakfast menu well cooked and well presented. Excellent, helpful staff. Instant free wifi, even in the annex rooms.
It would be helpful, from a health and safely point of view, to have grab rails by the bath. There was occasional train noise in the annex but no road noise.
Excellent staff. Very good food! Very nice atmosphere.
The main road goes right past the house and the garden.
Excellent value for money.
Relaxing atmosphere friendly staff
The room (apart from the bathroom) was spacious and modern, staff were helpful and breakfast was very nice
The bathroom in the room was very grotty and badly in need of an upgrade. There was no powerpoint close to the mirror to plug the hairdryer in (or at least I couldn't find one!)
The staff are so helpful can't do enough the room was big and comfortable we stayed in room 3 the location was excellent for the town and train not far to walk would definitely go back again
nothing to dislike
All the facilities of a great hotel
service was excellent the room was very comfortable no complaints at all thank you
We liked the room and the fact that we were in walking distance of the town. We enjoyed our breakfast.
We didn't book a room in the restaurant and so we walked into town for a meal. We could not pick up wi-fi in our room.
good location, very good breakfast and friendly staff.
We would not go again if we had to have room 8. It had no windows, just a velux very high up and I doubt if small guests could have operated it. It was gloomy and stuffy. Had to have light on all the time. Plenty of mirrors but not one with a light nearby so making up/ shaving was difficult. We were shown other rooms by cleaning staff the next day and they were all light and totally different.
Excellent menu and welcoming staff
Need to fix that shower head in room 11
