Staff was helpful, even when we checked in at 3am. Free internet was very good, breakfast was sufficient. Shared toilets were clean.

Room is a bit small, but the bed was comfortable. Kitchen is also small, sometimes you have to wait for breakfast due to many people. The price should be lower for this standard.

The walls is thin so sometimes you hear what happening outside you room, but it was endurable.

The room was swelteringly hot, despite whacking the air con on full. The walls looked like they had damp on - may have just been where they didn't bother finishing painting it. The tv channels kept losing signal. They have done well to fit three double beds in that room size - a touch enclosed. The shower was appalling

I stay over in London during the week for work. This is the best hotel in the area. Price for Price it wins easily.

An excellent breakfast with a lot of variety. Pleasant and helpful staff. Near the tube station. Very clean, open and light lobby plus the use of the internet which was very handy. Nice little hotel although not in central london very accessible.

The room was very small, hardly a double bed, not much room to move about in. Bathroom was not the best as the loo seat was broken so you had to balance on top of it, not easy.

The location, close to Bethnal Green and bus and Underground connections, was its strong point. My room was clean.

The sheets and blanket did not fit the bed properly. There was no "private bathroom" in my room (317) as advertised on your website. I had to use a very small wc outside room 313, which contained a shower, wash basin and toilet. When I questioned hotel reception staff over this, they admitted that their website description did not apply to my room. But they said they could not offer me another room as the hotel was full. Having to go outside my room for a 'bathroom' was a major inconvenience since I have a medical condition that requires several toilet visits during the night. I would not have booked this hotel had I been aware that my room would not have an en suite bathroom. The Plaza London Hotel is in breach of the Trades Description Act 1968.

My room 317 did not have an en suite bathroom. It was private but along the corridor.

The staff were very polite and helpful.

Breafast can be arranged according to time preferance so that you do not have to wait for your turn.

idnt like not having a bathroom / shower in the room - i must have overlooked this point when booking. Also not having any natural light as the room was in the basement a slight down side - however didnt really affect us as we were out and about all day...

After reading the reviews was hesitant, but it soared above expectations. Was very modern and friendly staff. Didn't think the walls were that thin as mentioned in the other comments. The breakfast provided was a decnt spread despite going late. Had a safe in room which was reassuring. Good value for money especially in London

Wasnt great having to share a bathroom, but it was mentioned when booking. Didn't see anyone else using it but it could have been cleaner.

Good location, very friendly and helpfully staff. Nice kitchen for guests in use 24/24 - provided with free coffee, tea, micro oven, fridges, dishes, water boiler, etc. It's the perfect option for London' visitors.

Great value for the money, recommended to travelers who don't spend that much time sitting in a hotel room. The location is near Shoreditch district, great place for young people to go out. Historical sights are 20 min by metro, and about 7 min to the closest metro station.

No air conditioner, it was cool outside so it wasn't a problem with a window open. Small rooms with a really small closet.

Plaza London Hotel is very close to the underground tube. Very clean, nice and helpful staff, close to supermakets and takeaway food stores. Fridge and microwave available. Clean towels and toiletries available. Good breakfast.

Can hear guest from next door. The walls are very thin. Guest can be very loud during the night and morning. Not considerate of their neighbors who could be sleeping! Kitchen very small. Not enough room / table or chairs for all guest to have breakfast in the morning.

room was too small for 6 beds, even for 2 adoults and 3 kids, kitchen was too small for all the guests in the hotel,

The location is great - Tube station is very close by and if it's closed, there are regular buses (no.8) to nearby tube stations.

The room was underground, no windows and no toilet facilities. The walls had signs of humidity. The beds had hairs and you could hear rats above you. There are only 3 tables in the kitchen for the self-service breakfast so we had to queue and wait in the morning. I honestly don't understand why this place's standard is still acceptable in the industry!

Three flights of stairs and no lift! (I'm not young, and asthmatic, plus I tried to walk from my conference and underestimated the distance so arrived tired.) Another time I would check that out beforehand. Maybe worth mentioning on the website? A detail - but my pillow was lumpy and I meant to ring reception for a replacement, but I fell asleep before that happened due to the long walk! I know, if I had rung, the staff would have done all they could to help.

The private bathroom was not a private bathroom. This was a major negative point. Definitly won' t be coming back.
