Close to where I wanted to work
Room to near bar
Local where we needed to be
Room was above the kitchen room was small an pokey, bed was cheap an not very comfortable also squeaky. Cheap pillows.
We stayed at the B&B for one night, and used the bar for drinks before we went out to a wedding reception. The bar was quite nice, we sat outside which was quite pleasant and few people around. Wifi was good.
The room we were given was smelly, there were cobwebs everywhere and spiders about! Me been scared of spiders that was worst nightmare! The bed linen was damp, the bathroom was dark, no natural lighting and light didn't work, and no way would I have used the shower! It was dirty and broken and stuck together with tape. Glad we was only there just to sleep for one night! ..The guests rubbish before us was under the bed so it obviously wasn't cleaned properly. I wouldn't stay here again.
Close to drayton manor theme park
It's joined to a pub so very loud and noisey outside once are little girl finally got to sleep we could barely move round the room because of how creaky the floor was. People in the room opposite were walking round late at night and it sounded like they were in our room. The was a sock from previous guest under. Bed so housekeeping hadn't looked under bed, dust everywhere. Shower tiny! TV was taped to the wall on a bracket with an old cereal box holding it in place. Finally I booked 2 nights and we only stayed the first night, we couldn't even get our money back for the second night which we booked. Purely disgusting.
Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. Food very good indeed. Cleanliness maintained.
Position of hotel. Size of room. Noisy music in bar.
It was all I needed for one night stay. Very simple.
Bed was quite uncomfortable and noisy.
The cocktails and main menu were fantastic and fairly priced. The bars Decor was luxurious and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The bar was the best part of the place
The service was mediocre overall. Our check in was awful; wrong number of nights booked, forgot to put us down for breakfast, thought we'd booked for a child. Even though I booked this online, I confirmed via phone the week before our stay. I didn't like that we had to state what time we would be down for breakfast the day before and on our last morning, nobody was about to let us in for the time we had to give. The room was in serious need of a lick of paint and the bathroom smelt of sewage every time we turned on a tap. The mattress dipped badly in the middle and needed replacing and so does the incredibly squeaky bed. There was no remote for the air con unit and it was up too high to adjust manually. We had some seriously hot wheather during our stay and , despite the window being left open, the room was too stuffy. A pitty the same amount of time and effort wasn't put into the rooms as in the bars
service and helpfulness
Very polite, quick service.
Can be fairly noisey and toilets make a lot of noise aswell
Staff were great food was excellent rooms are what they are you get what you pay for.
rooms could do with decorating
The room was very dirty if you wanted to watch the tv you had to lie on the bed as the tv was so high up it cricked your neck. The wardrobe door fell off when opened. It was cold very poor blinds very noisy and the shower was very poor. No won't stay again and won't recommend.
Nice staff. Comfortable bed and good breakfast.
The shower measures 26 inches square. If you drop the soap you have to turn the shower off and open the door to pick it up!
Convenient location. Excellent dinner menu. Helpful staff. Room not large but adquate
Breakfast - not served before 8am which would have been OK if prompt but then took half an hour to arrive on the table. As I was tight for time this was not convenient! No choice at breakfast just served. .
service and facilites
Door is onto a main road
Warm and Friendly Staff. Nice bar and Tapas bar atmosphere Nice short stay hotel and location for Drayton Manor Zoo and Belfry.
1. No Sky Sport Channel. 2. Room 7, no hot water in evening, hot water from both hot and cold taps the following morning!
The Location was Great for what we had planned for the weekend. The Room itself was big enough for two people and warm enough. The bar and restaurant were good too.
The Bathroom needed alot of attention, the glass shelf that was supposed to be above the sink was propped against the sink pedestal, the Brackets that should have held the shelf were falling out of the wall. The paint and plaster was peeling / falling off the wall. The shower was held together with silver duct tape, the towel rail fell apart and off the wall when a hand towel was placed on it (Please note we reapired it!) the lock on the bathroom door was held on by one brass coloured screw my foot found one other. The hot tap ran water that was approaching scalding temperatures and the cold tap ran hot water aswell (please note this is a huge health risk) and there wasn't a plug for the sink! all in all the general hygene of the bathroom was not good. The availability of breakfast was not particularly good as we had to be out and about by 9 am and they did not do breakfast before this time and only would accomodate a 9 am breakfast at a special request. Very disappointed with it.
very good staff and value for money also good food and for me location excellent.
Attitude and friendliness of staff
Basic comforts in the room, poor decoration of rooms.En suite very poor. creaking floors. Noisy toilet when flushed.
Bar and food good you would never bring a women to stay she would leave you
The whole package
My room didn't have an air conditioner remote for me to turn it on
The food was nice, well the dinner. We couldn't have breakfast as the chef didn't start work until 9!
The room was dirty, the shower was rotten absolutely disgusting. The room was so cold I had to put my 3 year old in bed with me (single bed) to keep warm, the beds were really squeaky and made a lot of noise with every movement. Tried calling the number I had to ask for more blankets at 2 but there was no answer and when I complained the next day I was told I should have said something sooner. Avoid at all costs.
Ideal place for what I needed
WIFI a bit slow/poor
Creakiness of room, every time we moved the floorboards creeked.
The breakfast was ok but a little overpriced.
We were in room 3 and the bedroom was above the kitchen and smelt strongly of frying food. The bed squeaked on every movement. There was no plug in the sink and the shower cubicle was not meant for an average size adult male. There was also a very strange and loud grinding noise that came from the bathroom.
