Not the place for a romantic weekend but after a Christmas do on the town was excellent place to crash. Car park available. Central location. Served it's purpose very well.
Nothing really. Did what it said on the tin. Good value excellent really.
My room directly off the car park - the door was very difficult to open & close. The room had an over powering smell of cigarettes and had not been aired.
It's cheap and cheerful, breakfast is included, we stayed there for Xmas party, normally cheaper during the year.
Bed very comfy.. Nice lady on reception upgraded us to a family room for the same price as a twin room
The shower was poor. Wasn't an electric shower. Off the taps and the shower head didn't sit right on the rail
Relaxing atmosphere and good facilities
The radiator in my room was not vey good and it was very cold upon arrival. Cobwebs also in the room.
Lovely receptionist, waited for me as I was a late arrival
Windows didn't close properly, drafty and cold. en-suite was detailed when I booked, was called shortly after to be told that the room had shared facilities Too late to find a suitable alternative. Facilities weren't clean, probably due to no visible policy about cleaning up after yourself, cobwebs with dust which must be at least two months old (booking late November) 10.30 check out. £55. Never ever again!
wonderful position close to the center, and a beautiful view from the outside.
room was small and dirty, food was poor.
Room was lovely and reception fire very welcoming. Staff lovely.
Smelly corridors and a bit grubby. Breakfast very average.
Great location to town centre
Strange smell in hotel Smell of cooking fat lingering in the hallways Damp in the bedroom Bedroom door been kicked in and badly repaired Shared bathrooms not very clean
Location was great, close to town but not right in the action. Bedding and Towel's good quality and clean, bathroom was nice looked to be fairly. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were plentiful. Plenty of draws and wardrobe space with hangers. Breakfast was the usual buffet quality and was replenished often. I would recommend this hotel if you just needed somewhere to sleep when visiting but not to expect too much
Rain came through the ceiling, this was obviously not the first time it had happened as we had noticed the damp patch up on arrival. Headboard was not fixed to the bed so it wobbled around when turned over.
Friendly staff-good breakfast-good central location
Smell from the toilets downstairs!
Really liked the location of the hotel.
Was disappointed with the state of the shared bathroom and the flickering lights in the breakfast room gave us a headache. Cooked breakfast didn't have hash browns.
Breakfast was good Staff very helpful and polite Parking good Clean
Single bed but probably my fault. Shared bathroom! different levels A bit drafty.
breakfast was very good ,staff good ,
dirty showers ,all a bit tired ,
location and parking
hotel had major problems while we were there boiler packed up sunday am had no hot water for the rest of our stay our ceiling started leaking water sunday night ,were compensated a small amount but as had to pay bill on arrival we felt leaves you vunerable if there are issues
Close to the town centre excellent location for shopping and night life
There was no hot water in the morning as there was a problem with the heating
Nice staff 2 minute walk from the King Billy!
No cooked breakfast available until after 8am on a Saturday, although there was toast, tea, cereal, coffee & juice available.
Traffic noise all night. Take earplugs.
Central location. Free parking.
Over looked busy road junction, quite a bit of traffic noise.
Location was right where we needed for the party we were attending
Room was on corner of building overlooking busy crossroads. Traffic noise felt like sleeping in middle of road, even though windows were double glazed. Breakfast was limited in hot food. Room had what looked like smoke damage on ceiling; Bathroom had cracked tiles all around bath.
Everything was really enjoyable
The staff was quite friendly and helpful. It was also only a 3 minute walk into the town centre which was very convenient.
Not at all worth the money you are paying. Shared bathroom. Light didn't work in toilet and door didn't lock properly in shower. Also required to leave your room key with reception before leaving the building which is completely unheard of to me. Would not stay here again.
Nothing as the room was a tad dirty and stain on the white sheet and the English breakfast was hard to eat , bad quality of service :/
The whole service was bad including noise at night
Nice staff Location
Mouldy shower curtain No bin in bath room No bed side lamp Thin walls - could hear everything Over priced
