Staff were good
Management were rude and it was very noise all night
location, price and the breakfast was the only saving grace
The mattresses need to be replaced had an unbelievably that night sleep. The entire room needs to be renovated and brought up-to-date. Bathroom is a very poor state of repair.Would only consider staying in the same hotel in the room was brought up-to-date
The location was a short taxi ride to the party we were attending. It was also half the price of the last place we stayed of a similar standard.
The room was very dated and a bit worn. The menu was limited to pub grub but to be fair at pub prices and the room reflected the charge and was overall good value.
Location was ideal for visiting stoke on trent or alton tower trips. Restaurant was lovely and staff were very helpful
Little touches missing, 1 pillow per bed, did receive extra one when asked staff. Bin in room too small, shower had no power but useable. Room was lovely and warm but radiators were noisy. No hairdryer or other luxuries in room. Tv played up but managed to work it. Overall it was a one night stay to visit university and this was ok for one night. Felt with bit of tender love this place could be lovely.
We didn't like anything. We got the key to No.49. Opened the door .First the smell wasn't nice The room looked old and dirty. Bedding smelt stained lamp shade. didn't stay just handed key back. And booked into a premier inn. Won't try cheap again.
the microwaved diner, the flavour was astonishing. The room, was great, I never had a room with 3 beds to select from. Really good bed spings: my bum hit the floor. and the shower absolutely great if you like mold if you enjoy rust and cracked tiles. Athomspheric lighting completed the bathroom. that is if you like 1 small light as the rest did not work.
it is cheap
The room was shabby and worn. The bedding had seen better days and there were no pillow protecters. We took our own pillows, thank god. Just would not stay here again!
In need of decorating and upgrading.
The facilities were fine for the price and I would consider going there sgsin
There was a skip full of rubbish outside the apartments. It stunk and I'm certain it would attract vermin. Given the large car park it is stupid to place it where they did and it was a real put off!
Location, Large car park as I was driving large van and trailer.
Very uncomfortable bed
Excellent location for football fans
Quiet, Private rooms, Great staff, clean rooms, off street parking
Dining area showing it age
The mattress needs chaning in room 24. You can feel all the springs!
Clean enough, cheap enough for an over night stop or a bed for the weekend.
Just the price was abit reasonable
Should improve on the bedings and the matress should be changed, they are still using the old type. They should put wifi in every room.
Room was sadly in need of refurbishment and upgrading. Facilities were adequate for our short stay. Pub staff were really nice. Motel was quiet and we had less noise or inconsiderate behaviour than in some five star hotels we've stayed in.
Room , although clean with clean linen, was slightly musty.
Not the best facilities but good for the price. The food was nice and staff are friendly also.
Not the best area and old appliances in the room.
pleasant and helpful staff
Only half hour drive from Alton Towers where I was visiting. The food was nice and the rooms were spacious. There was plenty of parking and cars seemed safe. The staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was very good value for money.
The bathroom was dated and could do with a new suite and shower. The windows in the rooms were all open before arrival allowing some bugs to get into the room and the room was cold at first. Was unsure how to turn the radiator on if we needed it, luckily we did not. The food took a while to come out and service was a bit slow, had to go up to the bar to order another drink. Other than that we was okay.
Good value for money. 10 minute walk to stoke city & 5 min drive to hanley. Restaurant was nice & nice food. Staff very helpful & friendly.
No safety deposit box for keeping things safe whilst out. Mattress very lumpy which caused a restless nights sleep, ended up sleeping on top of quilt for a bit more comfort.
nothing about the place
the staff, the room,we would have had a better sleep on a bed of nails..the only good thing about this place is the road out of there...
Staff very good evening meal was extremely good .
The breakfast was the only let down. But overall very good
