Close to the Wash, and out of the way, but just close enough for a taxi ride into Boston
our stay here was very pleasant. we was made to feel very welcome. room was clean and tidy. we had breakfast at a time that we wanted. we will be going back again
A warm and friendly host, lovely large bedroom with extremely comfortable bed. Great location close to lovely walks. A beautiful former coach house, the property has all the charming qualities a grade 2 listed property should possess. An extremely enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.
The Owner text before us arriving to make sure what time we were getting to the house which was nice and the room was like sleeping in an old inn with all the qualities of an old house. The breakfast was good and the Owner was especially helpful in showing us where to go in the local area.
Was really difficult to find which is not the Owners fault but a sign where the Sat Nav takes you would have been helpful.
Satellite Navigation has not yet reached The Fens - thank goodness. Peaceful, charming. Arrived has strangers left has friends. Thank you Tracey `Plummer` Smith - a great host.
Didn`t like to leave !
Plummers is quirky but lovely and Tracy is a great host. Nothing was too much bother. Great country location and very close to the sea.
Friendly, comfortable, great for walking & relaxing.
Ironically the noisy plumbing took some getting used to.
Welcoming staff Great breakfast Characterful building Next to nature reserve
Lovely old building, with walls and floors at strange angles. Very friendly owner. Breakfasts were excellent. Even the dog came for a walk with us!
Not all that easy to find.Further from Boston than we expected.
Very enjoyable stay, home from home. Breakfasts were excellent and the owner could'nt be more friendly and helpful.Great place to stay
Property was in poor condition & needed a through clean & redecorating. Entrance porch was dirty, Stair rail was insecure and loose from wall. Room was not serviced over the two night stay. Floor in shower/toilet area had broken ceramic tiles which could be dangerous and cause injury.
The Olde Worlde style and wonky floors the 4 poster bed plenty of tea/coffee facilities and lovely cooked breakfast, lovely and clean and very welcoming hostess
there is nothing not to like here
Noise from macerators when toilets next to our room were used.
Quiet location, friendly owner, Very good value for money with fresh cooked breakfast, not microwaved. Also found out is dog friendly. A+++
Friendliness of the staff. Made to feel very welcome once again.
staff location quiet took dog
Nice big room, comfortable and clean. Very helpful owner who gave up her Sunday lie-in to make us some breakfast! Lovely position right next to RSPB reserve with dog friendly walks. Packed lunch and evening meal were good value
The restoration to original decor.
A little hard to find. Limited check in time.
smell of animals
I loved the old house and all its quirkiness. The loacation next to the sea was amazing and yet so close to Boston as well. The hospitality and food quality was terific. I will gladly stay at the Plummbers Place Guesthouse again.
Friendly staff Good food Quaintness
The informal friendliness of the family that runs its. You really feel that you are staying in their home, (and welcome too). The rooms are lovely, and so spotlessly clean. The building has a unique character like nothing else. The food was very good (a bonus these days). I want to go back tomorrow, (in fact I might).
Nothing at all. I loved it all.
The owner met us she was so friendly and nice and our dog was made very welcome we had ground floor room which was very nice clean comfortable.the area is a hidden gem fabulous walks on the doorstep and very close to lots nice towns villages
The guest house was in a shabby state & not very clean at all. The room wasn't cleaned during our 3 day stay. 2 of the landlady's hair on my breakfast plate on first morning.
