Staff extremely polite and helpful. Quiet. Good breakfast facilities. Near to airport. Open all hours.
Distance from car park to reception. Incline with a lot of steps. Too many if you have a lot of heavy luggage.
The spacious rooms were great
The steak was awfull
the location, swimming pool and bedroom were all great - a good spot for a quiet stay before travelling at the airport
the quality of the food in the small restaurant did not match the good standard of the rest of the hotel
Pool Staff friendly
Only continental breakfast - disappointing Rooms full of character
The rooms are lovely and large. Dinner was excellent
Only continental breakfast but it was very good
Everything, the room; the pool; the view; the grounds. It was all lovely.
Slight road noise with the window open.
Comfy bed, nice owners
Too expensive (I thought). 90 pounds plus 10 pounds for dog and only continental breakfast. Full breakfast was 7.95 each on the top of 109 pounds if you wanted full english.
Friendly Staff Good food Comfortable room A couple of interesting architectural details
Fantastic staff, very helpful when broke my foot and needed assistance
Staff were extremely friendly and nothing too much trouble Lovely clean and spacious room - very comfortable bed Excellent shower Great pool - big enough for a proper swim. Beautiful gardens
It was a very hot night so had to have window open and the traffic on A38 was very noisy
Staff v nice and keen to make stay good.
Room we booked had v noisy bed, every time either turned over it woke other up. We were moved the next day
Nice room. Lovely old house with period features be stiffly decorated and furnished
Extra charge for cooked breakfast even though breakfast is described as included. Noisy room at the front of the hotel by the main A38 road which is busy sol night. No A/C
The hotels location is ideal for those wishing to explore the surrounding areas; although the country lanes can be a little daunting with many blind bends. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting outside looking over the countryside. The hotel also has a lovely swimming pool and Jacuzzi, which we enjoyed all to ourself one day. The staff are friendly and polite. Our room was on the road side of the house but we was not disturbed by traffic noise.
We were a little perturbed by the additional fee for a cooked breakfast as presumed, this would be included as per standard bed and breakfast. Although the continental breakfast was good and provided lots of choice.
the long way round to get in, going wrong the back was a little inconvenient.
Most things. The restaurant was very poor, in selection, quality. Breakfast was very basic and again poor quality. Bed, pillows rick hard. The gardens unkept, swimming pool only available occasionally, not while we were there. Would not recommend or go again.
The rooms are well fitted out
The breakfast states included when you book, its actually continental; you then get offered a price list. The location is on a busy road, the noise is constant and there is no aircon.
Very good service. Only slight criticism is the car park requires a decent ramp to the main building as moving a heavy suitcase over crazy paving is not easy.
Very friendly people.
Staff really accommodated us with our 3 month old. Beautiful location and comfortable room
The kindness and cleanliness. The pool has hot (29 degrees!) after driving during 2hs, it was really a pleasure to swim for a while
all was perfect
Excellent attitude of the Owners and their level of Customer Service, very hard to fault in an area. Superb stay.
Nothing that I can think of.
the hotel was a big disappointment
Access from the main road was difficult. Access to hotel was negotiated by many steps and was quite a long way from car. My daughter's bed felt like a matress on the floor, the furniture was a mich match, lots of road noise and house noises. our was uncomfortable and very small and we were awoken in the middle of the night by people talking very loudly. Breakfast was horrid, fruit in water, the pineapple was tasting of onions. etc etc. Would definitely not recommend or visit again. Very expensive for what is available.
The staff were excellent, so welcoming & friendly. Food was great asked about our likes and dislikes prepared lovely eve meal Gave us info on local area could not fault the service.
The best most friendly staff made my stay a joy
Very friendly staff. I couldnt get a late night taxi to the airport on time so the boss took me in his own car.. Fantastic service. Comfy rooms. Clean and tidy.
