Location, size of bed, breakfast, friendly staff.
Having to pay for wifi.
Limited car park
Breakfast was poor
Staff..food....bed hahaha very comfy...thanku
Good sized room, large bed, central location for both nightlife and the city (shops etc). Air conditioning, "Happy Hour" at bar, Meal Deal, Generally good value.
Having to pay for WiFi, Car Park not owned by Hotel, in busy periods, large under used disabled parking section cannot be utilised - although parking at Lockyers Quay next door is not too onerous, we had to use it several times in a five night stay.
Staff professional and courteous at all times, rooms clean and as expected. Nothing seemed to much trouble.
i liked everything at the hotel polite staff and excellent breakfast
Very noisy room! Squeaky beds, worn carpet... Gave the. Impression of very low budget hotel.
staff , nice bedroom with air conditioning, excellent choice of breakfast to suit all tastes, also proximity to harbour. Evening meal was good but would get a bit monotonous if staying for a long period of time
would have liked a view but these hotels are not in the best situations for this, however we were only stopping 3 nights. the other thing was having to opt in or out of a gratuity when paying by card,we prefer to leave a tip at the end of our stay and felt annoyed at having to make a decision immediately so we declined. This was no reflection on the staff who were all excellent.
Comfy beds and very helpful staff.
Pillow smelt musty
We was welcomed from the moment we arrived! Staff at reception very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect for what we wanted, clean, good air con system and fantastic shower. The beds was very comfortable and slept like a baby for 2 nights. We wasn't disturbed infact it's the quietest hotel I've stayed in for a long time. The staff in the restaurant was very helpful, cheerful and clearly enjoyed working there. Would most defiantly go back to this hotel. Perfect location and easy to find. Many thanks.
Free Parking Breakfast Cooked on order Friendly Staff Good Internet Speed Superb Shower Clean Rooms
Friendly staff good service
Charging for internet use and whilst the breakfast was reasonably good a bit pricy
Closeness to Sutton Harbour
The room's air conditioning was broken and room reached temperatures of 30 degrees even with the window open. As a result we had to keep the window open which meant that revellers smoking outside our room could be heard until 03:00 hrs with cigarette smoke entering the room, this affected mine and my daughters asthma. no one from reception was prepared to ask the smokers to move to the official smoking area which was away from the front door. We were staying four 4 nights and were only offered an alternative room on our last night despite complaining every morning about the heat and the cigarette smoke
Comfortable & clean rooms Lovely breakfast service Staff are polite & helpful Just a short walk from the Hoe Really enjoyed our stay
With having only 1 lift & with us having our baby in the pram, sometimes we would wait upto 10 mins watching the lift come up & down with people in & no room for the pram.
Breakfast was fantastic value for money and beautifully cooked
Car park was full so we had to park around the corner
The choice & quality of the food for breakfast, & the number & location of disabled parking spaces at the hotel. The helpfulness & politeness of all the staff.
The noise from the banging of doors mainly by other guests, also noisy children being allowed to run up & down the corridor when it was a designated quiet zone. Although there were no smoking signs some guests were in the car park late at night smoking
The noise from people going home past the inn until the very early hoursbecause you have to have ewindows open due to the heat.No air conditioning
Service, bed , pillows, black out curtains, large room, breakfast
Silly small leafs of toilet paper.
Convenient location with free parking and really nice and clean rooms. WONDERFUL!!!
It had air con in the room. Plenty of plug points for laptop, phone chargeretc. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Lovely staff.
Convenient location and reasonable price for a family room. And luckily was a quiet spot, with no noisy neighbours!
The room was way too hot, even with the air con on at it's maximum. The middle section of the window could only be opened by a limited amount, meaning we had to strip the duvets out and sleep under their covers! In the morning it got worse, when we all took showers, which generating more heat in to the room that couldn't escape!
The friendliness of the staff The efficiency of the staff The Hotel was very clean The staff could not do enough for us from chilled water at 1o'clock in the morning to activity packs for unexpected visitors
The car park is too small
Hotel provides 10 to 20% discounts to certain activities (Eden Project, Marine Aquarium, etc). Very good Location (5 min walking distance to Marine Aquarium and Marina, 10 min walking distance to barbican and 15min walk to Centre and Shopping, 20min walk to the Hoe).
