Good sized room and great location
Cramped parking a nightmare. Rooms really do need updating.
Location was brilliant and the breakfast fantastic. Car Parking below the building very handy and staff very polite ....
The condition of the place is not great. It is in need of a really decent refit ...all round - it is fundamentally tired I chose Holiday Inn as I have had excellent stays in the past all around the world.. This one was reasonable, however, everything is dated ... its like something out of the mid 80's. A really tiny observation is things like a small childrens play table arrangement on the first floor - its in the corridor directly in front of the lift. Think about it ....
The friendliness and helpfulness of the Staff.
size of rooms, gym, restaurant and price.
Paying for WIFI; the tightness of the car park!
Stay spoilt by horrendous parking arrangements. Wouldn't stay here again.
Very slow lifts, car parking on the weekend nightmare.
Great location and nice staff. Clean too. Lovely shower.
Toilet handle needed to be 'pumped' to flush.there was a burn in the head board and the hairdryer was pretty naff.
Nice place to stay but the best bit was breakfast next door at the Pub on th Hoe!
Parking is a bit fraught.
We liked the location, especially the views from the restaurant. We enjoyed using the pool, and our room was a good size. The breakfast was great, with a wide selection to choose from.
Slept well, bed comfortable, parking on site. Friendly staff.
The location is excellent, especially the PH setting for breakfast
The rooms are tired & desperately need upgrading. The cleanliness in bathroom was poor & facilities would benefit from being replaced. Paid wifi is a downside nowadays, breakfast average
Evening meal. Over-salted king prawns & tough, inedible steak. Muzak annoying too.
Rooms were not very clean. Hotel very run down. Underground car parking very tight no signage that their is an open air alternative.
friendly staff location cleanliness and comfortable beds would definitely stay here again
if I had been staying longer I would of liked a room with a view also not keen on paying for the wifi
Excellent location between the Hoe, Barbican and shops. Good facilities in the hotel with an excellent breakfast and wonderful views from the restaurant. A very pleasant and comfortable stay.
Location convenient for family funeral
Checkin was abysmal. Given room 707 but found occupied, the given 911 but retrieved by reception while waiting for lift and given 802 which was also occupied. Member of staff overheard my complaint and rang reception and finally got me an unoccupied room 702. Apparently their computer was down, but they did not seem to have a foolproof plan of action and were issuing duplicate room keycards. Felt apprehensive as to safety of belongings when out of room. Unhappy to have spent so long ( over 30 minutes) getting a room. Would not stay there again.
Great location and comfortable room. Slightly worn with age and room had a couple of lights that didn't work but these were fixed as soon as I told reception.
it is perfect love go there again :) pool is lovely room is fab
Room (10th floor) was immaculate and with excellent views
Heater not working, not ideal for early Feb. Tea/coffee selection minimal
The Holiday Inn is perfectly located for town or the sea front. Loved the breakfast on the top floor with lovely views.
Staff very good breakfast very good
Mould and discolour around bath put me of a shower
Friendly staff, comfortable room. Great location
