Score from 323 reviews Good
I liked the location of the hotel. It was nice to having two double beds.
The hotel is little dated. Big dressing area but small bathroom.
The early morning tv. I could view Elo in Hyde Park.
The view from the window (HA!what view). Constant slamming of doors! Due to inconsiderate guests. I reckon a prison would be quieter.
Clean comfortable and spacious room. Very helpful and friendly staff. Central location.
Pool was a bit shallow, you bang your knees on the bottom when swimming.
Excellent Location. helpful staff. great views from dining Rommel and bar.
car parking very tight and limited. Prices raised for Fireworks competition
Location and breakfast
Stained bedroom furniture and the bars
Not enough space in outside car park
Receptionist was very helpful while we were checking in, bedroom was large a little dated but very comfortable only used the swimming pool as we we're visiting family
Very nice room with great views. Good touches free bottles of water and chocolates. Restaurant and upstairs bar very good again with great views
Parking very tight especially in underground car park.
Very helpful friendly staff....
Poor internet Poor room service
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food both breakfast and evening meal. Good size room, clean and well presented. Great location for the sights, right on the Hoe. Less than 5 mins to the seafront. Same to lots of restaurants and shopping. We have a large car and had no problems with the car park. You just need to be careful!! Really hard to find fault with this hotel!!
Wi-fi is expensive so didnt use. Woken up early by seagulls but that's the price you pay for going to the coast!! Food and drinks in the restaurant are a bit on the pricey side but once our meals had arrived we were amazed at the quality and quantity so worth every penny.
Size of the room
Lift to parking
Cost of wi-fi
Good quality, location is good attending what the city has to offer. Pool ok Matress perfect
Nothing at all
There was no clear signage about the breakfast location in either the rooms or any corridors or lifts etc.
Breakfast location of resturant
Would have liked better tea / Coffee in room
The staff were very efficient and very helpful. Food was of a good quality and the views from the restaurant were amazing. Our room was always clean and tidy and our view from the sixth floor was of the barbican. The hotel is ideally situated on the hoe for sightseeing and for shopping in Plymouth.
There was nothing I disliked.
Bad car park
Underground car park, ceiling height was really low the corners were very tight. Couldn't get around them in one go.
Perfect for Barbican & shops
Car park very tight for large cars. open car park opposite but always full of small cars.Windows never very clean.
We liked the location of the hotel, being able to use the gym facilities & pool. The quality of the buffet breakfast. We thought the bar prices were very reasonable.
We thought the room & bathroom looked rather tired & in need of re- decorating compared to other hotels we have stayed in....... but if we were visiting Plymouth again we would use the Holiday Inn.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food exceeded expectations.
Friendly staff, nice pool, excellent breakfast buffet, good value, quiet at night.
Rooms looking a bit dated, could do with a spruce up. Needs more interconnecting rooms as these are always booked when we ring! Good selection of pillows but could I be picky and ask for a memory foam option?! I left mine at home and struggled to sleep.
Love the location of this hotel, its central for everything, staff were friendly and rooms were well equipped
Genial welcome - attentive and warm staff
Delay getting 2nd glass of wine to dinner table - food would have been cold had we not eaten it without our wine!
