Score from 1005 reviews Fabulous
Location very good walking distance Hoe, Barbican ad City Centre
the location was fabulous the buffet breakfast was wonderful and hot ,i was impressed as i can't eat cold food the staff were very professional always have eye contact and a smile and
the car park was always full
Close to every thing to the city
Bathroom needs up dating pretty average ok stayed in better hotel paying less money
We chose the Hotel because of the perfect location. We went to see John Bishop at the Pavillions, just a few minutes walk away. Very friendly staff and good service. Food choice was good, and fab views of the Hoe.
No dressing gowns!
It was warm and quiet and clean.
The man behind the desk was unfriendly . Almost rude.
Brilliant location, stayed there as watching something at theatre royal had wonder round barbican and walked to theatre. Hotel clean friendly staff, didn't eat there so can't comment on food
Car park is very narrow, good luck to anyone with an estate car and finding a space
location is good and staff were very good.
Booked a spa which I know isn't part of the hotel but this was very poor
Service was excellent, and the location is superb.
The place is beginning to feel a little tired, and needs an uplift soonish.
Good food and service, lovely location
Location and views are immense, the Restaurant in the penthouse, breakfast and the underground secure parking
The hotel is tired and needs a makeover, all looking very faded. Restaurant dinner menu looks good but food quality is average, chef uses Balsamic dressing way too much on everything. The restaurant staff are well meaning but took no notice of my complaint about the miniscule portions for the Parma Ham salad and the ghastly dressing, which I didn't ask for. The rooms are good but the WiFi, paid for is poor and patchy. The underground car park astonishingly they charge for, I had no idea £6.00 per night until I checked out. Expensive for what it is and trading on the name and location on the Hoe.
Staff very friendly ,nothing too much trouble, food ok,nice view from the restaurant , Very Clean , Comfortable bed.
For the money should have had free Wifi.
Close proximity to Plymouth Hoe, Excellent service in the Restaurant, friendly, helpful staff.
Great to have on site free parking, but it was rather daunting trying to manoeuvre the car in a very small area.
Initial Room allocated AC was not working, Parking was Full, Bar was like a sports bar (unsophisticated) and overall the Hotel is Tired and expensive for what it is.
Staff are very nice
I upgraded to a suite and was most happy.
Nice hotel with amazing views of the sea. Friendly staff, good size rooms, huge breakfast, close to bars and restaurants. Good secure parking too. Despite the ugly building I enjoyed my stay here.
Wi-fi charges are ridiculous (£6 an hour I think), but if you're a member of their rewards programme then it's free... Amazingly ugly building in a lovely location.
fab location and staff friendly and helpful
Hotel is in need of updating. Furnishing a bit old and tired.
Lovely large beds
All the staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. The hotel is in a prime central position for visiting Plymouth or beyond.
We had no complaints with this hotel.
Pillows. Bath was tiny.
The view from the restaurant was amazing , really enjoyed our stay ,
There was nothing I did not like , perfect hotel and location
Duvet on bed
EXCELLENT ROOM OVERLOOKING THE SEA. STAFF VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL
THE FOOD IS NOT EXCELLENT
fab location , friendly helpful staff, spacious rooms ,comfy beds .nice food.
parking was awful underground spaces are tiny someone bumped our car ,lots of complaints about it hotel needs updating .
Breakfast and the location of restaurant on top floor. The food was well cooked and there was a good variety available. Excellent and friendly staff. Room good (but see right).
The only thing topsoil this hotel was the old, single glazed window which did not seal properly and we could here people talking in the street below (we were on the tenth floor). The weather was fairly warm for our visit but I think that this room would get rather cold in the winter due to draughts from the window and that this degrades an otherwise very good hotel.
