Predictably large comfortable and very practical room to stay in with our 4 year old son who immediately settled in and loved it. Fantastic location near sea front and yummy buffet breakfasts with amazing views. Very nice swimming pool open most of time with free towels. We' d definately stay there again. Fab views but not from our room perhaps needs to be requested at booking.Expensive WIFI .Slight smell of smoking coming from somewhere in the evenings when we opened our window. But dont be put off this is a great place to stay partic with kids. |

Holiday inn at plymouth was central to all sight seeing, and within walking distance to sights. Could not open the windows for fresh air, i know its for health and safety that the doors donot open but they should open slightly. |

The pool and breakfast are nice and the location is great (we got upgraded to a sea view room). Staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are in serious need of an update and refurb... although we'd been upgraded to a executive room it was still shabbier than i would have expected (especially for the money). I dread to think what the bog standard room's furnishing would have been like! |

I was particularly impressed by the breakfast staff and organisation. For a busy hotel they made me feel welcome and wonderfully organised with a good selection of food available. Met some very frequent residents who also said god things. Overall good hotel. |

Excellent hotel with friendly, professional staff. The rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfasts are fantastic! The hotel commands one of the best locations in Plymouth for access to the Sea front, Ho and Barbican areas. However, watch yourself in the car park! It's a very tight squeeze on there! |

the restuarant and food was excellent. Beautiful viewa over Plymouth Hoe car parking was a nightmare, couldn't get in the hotel 'pay' carpark and had to park on meters and keep running out to feed them at regular intervals |

The facilities are good, the location is excellent and the rooms are comfortable. I'm not a fan of carvery meals it is reminiscent of the 70's and a small, table d'hote menu, would be preferable. |

The reception staff were very helpful as were the bar staff in the Penthouse bar The housekeeping staff were poor to say the least. I had to ask for towels upon our arrival and was advised that they would be sent up "straight away" so my wife continued with her shower, after 20 minutes I approched a chambermaid on our floor, the ninth, to ask for the missing towels and was informed she had none and would be "five or ten minutes"; a further twenty minutes later they arrived !!! |

The hotel is centrally located with great views of the Hoe. The gym/pool facilities are great, I particularly liked the timetable of classes. Breakfast was served in the Penthouse with more great views, and there was plenty to choose from on the buffet. The rooms and general decor could do with some updating. The paper information (room-service menu/'pillow menu'/general information) in the room was dog-eared and tired, making an otherwise very-clean room look a little tatty. |

The friendliness, The staff dealt quickly to relocate our room to accomodate my fear of lifts!! The location for town and theatre was excellent. The food and room service was very commendable. The young lady from Russia working in the bar was a credit to the hotel. |
