die zentrale lage des hotels war von vorteil das frühstück war sehr einseitig, in der auswahl sehr begrenzt und nicht schmackhaft, die dusche verfügte über einen solch starken wasserdruck, dass das duschen mitunter schmerzhaft war und der duschvorhang am körper klebte. |

Zentral gelegen, also günstig für Ausflüge in die Stadt. Auf jeden Fall ok für Reisende die wirklich den ganzen Tag unterwegs sind und nur ein Nachtlager benötigen. Räume zur Strassenseite leider ohne Sichtschutz für Passanten oder Anwohner. Hier würde an Stelle der dunklen schweren Vorhängen vielleicht ein Lamellenvorhang Sinn machen. Durch die gegenüberliegende Bar/Pup recht lärmintensive Umgebung bis nach Mitternacht. Das Foto mit dem geworben wird ist nicht das Hotel, sondern das Congresscenter. |

Die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit auch wenn man nicht perfekt Englisch spricht Die Einrichtung ist alt und nicht sehr gut gepflegt |

Das Design der Eingangshalle und das farbenfrohe Stockwerk zu den Zimmern. Lärmig weil Pub visavis. Zimmer wirkte eher etwas "schmudlig" im Gegensatz zur Eingangspartie. Frühstück ist zu teuer. |

The interior is dull dirty and in poor repair. Staff not at all helpful. Bedroom windows don't open. Hair drier didn't work. Generally just a very poor standard. |

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable. Excekllent location. Initially our room smelt of cigarettes and was a bit run down and musty. Staff moved us to another room, with no fuss and very efficiently. The room was quite noisy at night as it was on a busy street. No parking. |

Staff were very good and helpful. Food was good Lifts were functional, failed to work once, left hand lift was very noisy, I think due to being next to the air conditioning system. Some items in the room (314) could do with some TLC, or a handyperson with a screwdriver to tighten things up. |

The friendly staff, and the big bed. Noise was a big problem It needs double glazing, and quiter closing doors. Every time someone went in the room next door it sounded like they were coming into our room. Description fails to mention that is very close to lap dancing club and pole dancing club and based on what we saw, near to red light area. Room appeared unfinished too. |

Great location, we had an excellent view of the castle. The staff were friendly and always willing to help with any queries we had. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Breakfast was excellent and the cocktail bar/lounge was great. We had a great stay :) |

good location, friendly staff and an interesting design concept. we only ate breakfast but that was good. we had a zip and link bed but one of them was old and very uncomfortable |

Great location, within easy walking distance of Edinburgh Castle. The hotel was also in a quiet area, which helped reduce the sense of hustle and bustle that is part of the city experience. |
