Pomme d'Or Hotel  

everybody was polite.it wasnt to deer.its right by bus station.anybody who moanded about this hotel needs to get a life i would go back tomorow

From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the staff.Everybody was so friendly and made us feel individual and special if that makes sense! One of our group had a birthday whilst we were there, the staff realised and put a cake and card in the room. The food was wonderful, the only problem was knowing what to choose and not eating too much. Thank you Pomme d`Or we will be back.

On arrival, front desk staff made you feel comfortable and welcome. No problems at all with the hotel. Was just absolutely lovely!

Only a suggestion: In the bathroom the shower rod could possibly be made rounded over the tub, instead of a straight rod. As once the water runs from the shower head and the draft of the vent air blows, causes the curtain to be blown against your body when showering.

Excellent helpful staff, who were quick to offer a different room when problems occurred and they gave us a free upgrade and a complimentary bottle of champagne

Only minor complaints: 1. Not a great selection of TV channels 2. The heated towel rail in the bathroom didn't work 3. The loudspeaker in the bathroom didn't work

We wanted a Hotel that was in the centre of St Helier with a good reputation for service and high standards and I can say we were not dissappointed. We would definitely stay here again and have already been talking to our friends about returning in the Summer to have a better look around Jersey. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone that wants to have a lovely holiday in a Hotel were nothing is too much trouble and with shops, restaurants and bars very close the weekend break was a real joy.

The hotel is central for shopping, restaurants and nightclubs. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and staff are very polite and helpful.

Probably the most friendly hotel I have stayed in,in the last 20years. The staff were superb,particularly the reception staff. No request was too big and they bent over backwards to help. We received an upgrade on arrival and the food superb (breakfast has to be best on the island) We enjoyed it so much we are making a return trip in the new year. Great experience,thank you all 5* and more

Loved the warm comfort, good breakfasts. Convenient location for shops bus station to explore island.

Its location is perfect for shopping in the lovely town, it feels quite luxurious but without the luxurious prices. It's warm and welcoming.

We paid for an upgrade to a harbour view room but found that it wasn't really a harbour view room. It was a corner room, spacious enough but a very dark room. We couldn't have the curtains open because we were overlooked by other buildings on the opposite side of the road Theonly view of the harbour was from a small window, which wasobstructed by the dressing table. It was, in all a lovely room but I feel cheated as it wasn't worth the upgrade of £15 per night. The breakfasts were not up to the usual standard of the Pomme D'Or, but on the whole were acceptable. We always used to stay at the Merton, but found the Pomme D'Or much more superior, but the breakfasts at the Merton are unbeatable. Despite these small matters, we shall continue to stay at the Pomme D'Or as we visit Jersey twice or three times every year.
