Location.....staff......room.......

Room slightly too stylised - fine for 3 nights, a little too business-orientated for holiday stay any longer.....having to leave room at 10am.....being 'steered' towards leaving gratuity when ordering drinks in bar.......

After staying in many hotels for business and leisure, I find the Pomme d'Or the most welcoming of all and although a high quality establishment they still manage to maintain a friendly, comfortable and relaxed feel.

Nice hotel in a great location. Reception staff are very good. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large, well equipped and comfortable

Poor food in the carvery. The meat was okay, but the vegetables were dull and poorly cooked. The whole carvery experience is confusing and a little dis-organised. No drinks order taken when I sat down and no one asked afterwards. I had to go and tell someone that I wanted a bottle of wine. I gave up on being asked if I wanted anything else. Once you've sat down, you disappear.

Recently spent 5 nights at the Pomme d'Or to celebrate a special occasion, everything was perfect, staff excellent, room very good with best hotel bed and pillows I have had! Breakfast buffet very good and the Friday night seafood buffet is a must! Only wish we could have stayed a bit longer!!!

From a safety viewpoint I thought it should have been impossible to fully open the upstairs windows ( Room 512 I think) as it would be possible to fall out. under the present design

As usual, everything. We visit Jersey twice a year and if we travel just the two of us, we wouldn't stay anywhere else except the Pomme D'or, but when we bring my Grandchildren, we stay at the Merton, always!! That says something for Seymour hotels doesn't it? Excellent in every way.

The people the food the room

The hotel is so close to the town, beach and marina, it offers just about everything as far as location is concerned.

Staff were amazing. Very attentive helpful and delightful. Room was lovely and great view. Thanks v much for the champagne on our fiftieth anniversary.

excellent rooms and service and a great breakfast - could not fault it

I booked this for my friends and they stayed here. They felt very safe and were impressed by the staff the cleanliness and altho the hotel was in the middle of the city it was so quiet inside the hotel.

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect.

We have visited many times, always a friendly welcome. Good food. Good location for shopping or sightseeing.

.Very enjoyable time at the Pomme Dor Hotel. All staff we came into contact with were exceptionally helpful and friendly, breakfast buffet was readily and constantly replenished by pleasant and smiley staff in a busy environment that provided good quality fresh ingredients for breakfasts. In the heart of St. Helier - Jersey and very easy for to find this Hotel..Just 2minutes from the Marina. I always stay there and I will be back for sure summer time. Thank you very much!! friendly atmosphere have stayed many time ( like going home )

Super hotel, very comfortable but with a sense of occasion and history about it. Staff were great and service spot on. Good location for shopping, places to eat and drink. Car parks near but no parking belonging to hotel.

The hotel is situated in a great location a few minutes from the shops and also from the marina. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The Staff were all very helpful, friendly and efficient. The food was superb especially the buffet in the evening. This is one of the best 4* hotels I have ever stayed in.

Leaving the hotel, I wished I stayed longer

Everything about it. Staff friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable,breakfasts excellent and the discounted rate was real value for money.

The shower head had a mind of its own but plenty of hot water.

All the staff ready to help. The check in and check out procedures are both so efficient. I absolutely will recommend the hotel.

Central location. R410 was very clean with a comfortable bed. Flat screen tv, coffee maker, safety box, hairdryer and ironing board. Good choice of food at breakfast. Food in the hotel bar is also very good. Jersey is a fantastic island and the Pomme is a great location for shopping, beach. The harbour and bus station are within very nearby.

Room was a little noisy at night and the view from r410 looks directly into office blocks. I did ask for a free upgrade but was refused, pity as the hotel wasn't full at all. (Feb 21st) Car parking was a minor issue but there is parking about 500 yards along the road and costs 75pence per hour between 8am-5pm.

No fridge in room

The receptionists were great and very helpful, the rooms were spotless, it just did what it said on the tin.

We stayed on a Saturday night and there was a lot of noise in the street outside but that's no fault of the hotel.
