Food excellant and staff makes you feel at home also good with peys
The staff are so friendly, efficient and warm. The hotel is soo pet friendly, the choice of drinks are excellent, the food is lovely too. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was yummy.
We had to leave :-(
Welcoming staff and comfortable inn.We arrived at about 21.40 and there were no restaurants open for a meal in the town but we were offered a very appreciated round of sandwiches to eat whilst enjoying our beers!
When we were shown our room it was explained that there had been a leak from the radiator. There was an awful smell of damp but we felt it was too late to ask for another room
Friendly staff, superb breakfast, great ambience in the pub area - a highly recommended location.
tiny bathroom and fluctuating heat levels in the room
Stayed 1 night in a double en suite room (no.11) It was clean and the bed was comfy, the staff here are really friendly and the breakfast is amazing! Found out during our stay that dogs are welcome here and if we do go back to stay we will be bringing ours!
The wifi works fine downstairs but in the rooms not so much! (I only mention this as for some people this might be an important requirement.)
Nice staff Good location Pub on ground floor with good food
Old and smelly rooms Bad wifi in rooms
Location Location Location Staff was amazing, food was great - and the prices were GREAT!!
It was an older property. There are three parking spots available at the location - but you have to reserve them in advance.
toilet an heating
The pub environment suited us, very relaxed, with great menu. as above, the staff were friendly and helpful, room was pretty standard but bed was great!
The half moon seating being occupied by 2 people when could easily have fitted 4.When tables for eating are at a premium this seemed very selfish. Not much the new owners can do, but over time, perhaps the seating could be changed.
Well kept ales, home cooked fresh food, good breakfast, fresh decor in bar area, friendly staff
Bedrooms are a bit tired but comfortable, carpeted bathrooms, heating timed so room was at times cold, cooked breakfast good but buffet style of juices, fruits and cereals would make it excellent, poor selection of vegetarian options on menu - which meant we ate out two of the three nights, would have stayed otherwise
I came to stay at pony y pair with my partner and our dog. They made a great fuss of her and made us feel very welcome.
Central location - breakfast lovely - comfy bed.
Dusty bedside lamp. Very noisy throughout the night trucks passing by so very little sleep.Limited parking that has to be booked!
Staff very friendly and helpful and the accommodation very good value for money. A little tired but very clean and comfortable. Will definately go back and would certainly recommend to friends.
Brilliant little inn. Great location right at the heart of the village, great food and great beer. Will definitely visit again.
Friendly staff Really comfy bed Fab breakfast Room overlooked river Great location in centre of village Good value for money
Bathroom is a little outdated but overall fine.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Limited parking, there was parking nearby but was pay and display.
Great food Excellent beer Very friendly staff Comfortable 'base camp' Central location
Room a bit small
Hosts were really friendly and the food was really good. Would go back to eat as the food was excellent.
The power in the shower was virtually none existent and the two days we stayed we had to boil the kettle to have a wash in the sink as the hot water had packed in.
The staff were very welcoming and the location is excellent if you have kids as there are many things to do in the local area.
The food is outstanding here, staff were very lovely and accommodating, warm, clean, friendly and very welcoming to all, even your 4 legged pets, would recommend and definitely visit again
Very comfortable stay. Breakfast excellent! X
We stayed over night in a comfy, cosy family room with clean ensuite. We ate in the bar excellent homemade pies& our 5 yr old had meat balls n Spagetti. We all played pool after. Breakfast was excellent we had 3 full breakfasts. Linda was v friendly & helpful. All staff were excellent,
The television in our room was a bit too high up to see but we had games to play so our little one wasn't too bothered.
We liked the location, hospitality of the owners, great breakfasts, the toasted granary bread was delicious. Lovely views from window. Extra electric radiator. Bed very comfortable. Room service was good.
Just couldn't get wifi in our room foremails which could no doubt solved with a cheap wifi extender.
