Good location. Near Thames. Park close. Breakfast was cooked on demand. Good value overall.
Road noise I'm afraid.
Stayed in room 304. Impossible to see in mirror while using the hair drier.
I always feel comfortable there. It is not a fussy hotel but they look after people.
nothing considering the location at the price
Reception good on check in Staff at breakfast good however had to wait for ages to be served . Bedroom which was Superior Double very hot all windows opened which then made it very noisy Air Con turned off because to noisy also
Dingley Dell, Eggs Benedict
Helpful staff on reception. Breakfast with helpful waiter. Comfortable bedroom with the facilities you'd expect.
Decor in communal areas a little tired.
Room was good, breakfast was very nice, superb bus connections above all helpful staff.
Excellent staff, very comfortable room and the food was great, really recommend the restaurant
Mattress rather tired but we were told they were being replaced this week
16 of us with ages ranging from 18 to 65 stayed for 3 nights in August 2014 and all loved this place. This is a lovely comfortable, friendly hotel with great staff and great food. With a real home from home feeling. Stay here you wont be disappointed.
Looks good from the outside and well located for local attractions also directly opposite the River Thames and a small park. Although alongside a major road we were not disturbed by traffic noise. Bed was comfortable and clean, room was well equipped with 2 x chairs, trouser-press, tea/coffee-making etc. Secure carpark. Evening meals were okay but limited menu.
Rooms tired and in need of a refurb e.g. grubby bathroom flooring, peeling wallpaper, water marks. Breakfast was a disappointment - would you get one egg or two? Clearly depended how the chef felt, as with the bacon, (I can't ever remember being served streaky bacon at a hotel before!), - cooked, half-cooked, covered in unidentified bits? We had it all. Dining tables had grooves cut into them - they need cleaning out as all sorts of bits had accumulated inside! Lovely glazed front conservatory spoiled be furniture damaged and displaying foam stuffing. This hotel could be a jewel but as it is it's just a raw stone.
Staff very friendly
Very friendly staff, very comfortable, home from home
Don't have enough rooms, often sold out
Staff honest and friendly. Coffee at breakfast excellent.
Very expensive bar snacks. Hardly any choice of breakfast options. I would have preferred smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
Very good food and drink.
All aspects, especially the warm, welcoming response at Reception, the bar and restaurant in our first 15 minutes of contact.
Clean and bright. Mostly very friendly staff
Breakfast was a bit patchy, a lot of things had run out (fruit salad, juices etc.)
Convenient and pleasant service. Good sized room and bathroom. Very peaceful night sleep
Arrival hall a bit tatty - rooms were much nicer though.
Secure under ground parking
The bedroom carpets were disgusting, heavily stained , filthy , so much so I almost checked out, Reported this to reception I was told it was having a refurb next year , that was no help to me. Have you heard of a piece of equipment called a carpet cleaner?
stayed here one night before rowing from Twickenham to Guilford with a group of mature Cambridge graduates. it was very convenient to the river and the staff kindly let us leave some cars overnight - exceptional generosity for London. Rooms were comfortable and we shared a nice evening meal in the dining room. would happily return
dirty hand marks around all the doors and even on the ceiling, generally grubby feeling. cheap uncomfortable matress
Very clean and staff very helpful,
Menu was limited. Tables were a bit sticky. Beds a little soft.
The room was very comfortable and the staff all very pleasant and helpful. There was a good choice at breakfast.
Location of this hotel to visit the show was excellent, bus outside the door.
Shabby chic decor in public rooms was a bit too shabby.
Staff very helpful. Breakfast nice. Car parking very good in the underground car park.
Room 104, basin tap too close to edge of basin so difficult to use. Towel rail missing. Overall room was a good size but really needs to be refurbished as carpet particularly in need of replacement. Bit mean with the quantity of biscuits & hot chocolate as only one but hey we wanted one each!
Great friendly attentive staff and cooked breakfast. Free parking nice restaurant/bar area.
Rooms disappointing very tired looking especially the bathrooms. Lots of noise heard from outside and other rooms. Horrible loo seats without lids not sure if this the norm here but was the situation in the two rooms we had.
