It is ideally situated for the Twickenham/Richmond area which we were visiting. I is reasonably priced. The duty manager was very helpful and friendly and although we arrived late we were able to get a meal up to 10pm.

Really excellent. A lovely room with nice view of the Thames. The room also had air conditioning. The staff were friendly and obliging. The hotel is within easy reach of Hampton Court and trains to Waterloo Station. The hotel serves traditional food, which we thought was superb. And if you have room left the sticky toffee pudding is to die for.We would certainly stay here again.

The position by the Thames, full english breakfast was excellent, the staff were very friendly and polite, any problems were sorted out promptly, nothing was too much trouble. The room was of a generous size and very clean and comfortable. The bar tariff is very expensive, eg: 1 pint of beer and a 250ml glass of wine came to £8.95, we know this is London but that is very expensive compared to other establishments we visited in Twickenham. Room 103 where we stayed was very dark owing to the small windows and trees in the garden which could do with trimming to let more light into the room. The paintwork is beginning to look 'tired' and could do with refreshing. The grout around the bath/tiles has black mould. A cleaning tip on grouting is to use an old toothbrush with neat thick bleach on and rub it onto the grouting, leave overnight if possible, then rinse off with clean water

The hotel was clean and well furnished, with a nice atmosphere. The reception staff were helpful and courteous, and the room (luxury first floor) was first class, spacious, clean and very comfortable. This hotel is well located with nice views over the park down to the river. It is a stone's throw from Twickenham which has excellent restaurants and bars, and is also located well for Teddington and Hampton. There is an easy bus route from outside the hotel with frequent buses to Kew and Hampton Court Palace. An ideal location for the "garden lover". I think this hotel falls down on its restaurant. Although the waiting staff were excellent, the food didn't measure up at all, (breakfast being the exception), and if I stayed again, would definitely not be eating in the hotel. I had to return my evening meal, as it was cold, as did several other diners whilst we were eating.

Room was large and comfortable and very clean. We had an evening meal on the Sunday but I felt the prices were rather high and the quality of the food did not match the prices.

Location was most important, and the hotel provided excellent catering for my mothers funeral tea, it was good to stay two nights over the date of the funeral. staff were helpful and friendly. I really wanted to get out some cleaning materials and clean the breakfast toaster. Just a little elbow grease would have made the difference

More than adequate for a business stay. I had a room at the back which was quiet but my colleagues at the front said there was a bit of noise from the main road. The staff were exceptionally friendly in the bar, restaurant and reception.

Very clean and close to St. Mary's College Female receptionist was not friendly. Did not explain how to use lifts or where to go and find the room. Our room was 207 and when we went to the 2nd floor, it turned out that room 207 was on the 1st floor.

Location is good and the conservatory is very nice. The heating in our room was blowing out cold air - so had to complain and they bought us a small electric heater. Meeting family and charging £7.50 for kiddies meals ie, fishfingers, nuggets was very expensive. Room 209 very tired and needs painting and upgrading - not really value for money £120 expensive for what we got! My sisterinlaw stayed there week before us and she had no heating too so it is obv a problem at this hotel.
