I thought the breakfast staff very efficient and friendly. On arrival no reception staff available for 10 mins. Tried the phone no 146 as it suggested to no avail and had to go into the bar for assistance. On checking out was kept waiting while customers who had finished with their queries kept chatting and had to push up to the desk to pay the bill. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever had the misfortune to use. I think your reception staff could definately do with a customer course.

The member of staff at reception on our arrival was excellent, if I was running a hotel I would have employed her in a heart beat. She was friendly, welcoming, and informative. We couldnt fault her, even at breakfast she came and spoke to us about the wedding we had attended the previous day. Hang on to her she is the best member of staff you have. Breakfast was also excellent, plenty of choice. Our room was large and comfortable, couldnt fault that either.

A small friendly relaxing hotel, with a lovely pub bar and conservatory. Food very good, decor stylish. A more interesting hotel than many standard hotels - lots of character.

The location was good in the respect that it was close to where our friend's were staying on Eel Pie Island and also close enough to the train to get into the centre of London. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. From my internet search, the hotel appeared to over-look the river, however finding the road upon arrival was a little bit disappointing. That said, whilst it is a busy road it did not affect our sleep; double glazing reduced the road noise and we used the side of the river to run which was enjoyable.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were reactive and professional, the food was of a good standard (the breakfast deserves particular mention) and the general cleanliness and quality of the rooms was of a most reasonable standard.

Nice room and decor. Nothing to fault about the hotel except the food. My daughter had an interview at the local uni and the lady on reception was very helpful getting us a cab etc. Thankyou. The hotel was very nice indeed. However, we felt that the English cooked breakfast was poor. Maybe the plate was too big but the breakfast did not look well laid out. In looked tired and unappetising. The eggs were not cooked nicely and it looked rushed. The men serving were not too enthusiastic and didnt explain about the cereal and toaster machine. It was just left to us. I had to go and ask them to come over as time was short and we didnt want cereal. The room was lovely as was the reception lady. We would stay again because the location was excellent but please do something about the breakfast. If we had paid £10 for it as was on the menu I would have asked for our money back.

More than adequate for a business stay. I had a room at the back which was quiet but my colleagues at the front said there was a bit of noise from the main road. The staff were exceptionally friendly in the bar, restaurant and reception.

Very clean and close to St. Mary's College Female receptionist was not friendly. Did not explain how to use lifts or where to go and find the room. Our room was 207 and when we went to the 2nd floor, it turned out that room 207 was on the 1st floor.

Convenient location for us, very pleasant staff who were friendly and helpful. The pub bar sold good food, all in all this was a pleasant overnight stop. The hotel was a little'tired' and would benefit from a refurbishment. Some of the bathroom fittings needed replacement, although the superior twin room itself was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable.

Very welcoming and friendly, our room was very clean and just what we wanted for an overnight stay. The bar/restaurant was excellent, staff and atmosphere was great and the christmas ambience was great, would definitiely go back there. My other half was well impressed with the full breakfast the next morning. Overall a great location and very welcoming, I would definitely recommend, it really made our trip even better.

The position of the hotel was great for the conference I attended at Twickenham Stadium. It was only a short walk (!.5 miles) into the town centre where I met up with colleagues for a meal. The staff were polite and courteous on arrival and departure. The restaurant staff (at breakfast) were also attentive. The room I occupied was on the ground floor and was very spacious. As a larger than average height person and very awkward, this was a bonus!
