Over the bridge in the older West Looe you can visit the 16th century Jolly Sailor Inn or St. Nicholas Church. Wander in and out of the rock pools located in nearby Hannafore while enjoying the view of Looe Island with its monastic cells dating back to the 12th century.

Located in an unspoilt area of natural woodland just a little way down the road from East Looe, the Monkey Sanctuary has received worldwide praise as the only place capable of breeding Amazonian Woolly Monkeys outside of their habitat. 25 kilometres away, the Eden Project gardens in St. Austell are open year round, where you can explore the largest rain forest in captivity. Also in St. Austell is the Cornish Market World, Britain's biggest indoor market with over 300 stalls and a diverse range of goods on offer. A little further away is the Lost Gardens of Heligan, located in one of the most mysterious estates in England. After years of being left to waste away, these gardens have been lovingly restored to their former glory and are a must see attraction. 7 miles away in the town of Liskeard is Paul Corin's Magnificent Music Machines, a museum for organs and pianos. 60 kilometres away in Launceston is Trethorne indoor and outdoor leisure park, complete with golf course (voted the best 2 for 1 golf club in the country in 2001) and various other activities for a perfect family day out.

Travel information

By Car (from the A38):
- Turn right onto the B3251 then turn left onto the B3252.
- Turn right onto B3253, then take a left onto the A387 (Station Road).
- Turn right to stay on A387, continue over the bridge and then turn left onto Quay Road, where you will find the hotel.

Parking:
Guests driving to the hotel please note the hotel has no parking. Nearest parking is 50 metres past the hotel right on the waterfront and is available at an additional cost. If parking here is full, there is a large car park near exit from Looe, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
