Oxford Circus and West End theaters are within easy walking distance. The world-famous shops of Oxford Street can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. Each individually decorated room at the Portland Town House has an en suite bathroom and a kitchenette. Room features also include an LCD TV with satellite channels and a CD player. Breakfast is available at the elegant restaurant in the Portland’s sister hotel, the Clarendon. 24-hour room service is also available for guests to enjoy. Location excellent, room very comfortable and quiet. Some staff non-chalant, cleanliness superficial, furniture tired and at second sight all a bit drab or even broken. Paying for room unnecessarily complicated and confusing.

Didn't provide basic things such as water or kettle in the room. Hotel was part of a chain of other hotels across the street. Hence they use a central operator which always ask you which hotel you're calling from should you request any service. At 200 quids a night, standards do not live up to price.

Great location, close to British Museum and Tube zone 2. Spacious room, very clean. Pleasant private garden. Tea and amenities refurnished daily, kitchenette and tea pot. Lift was out of order all the time (thu-mon). Pedestrian walkway in front of hotel was kept iced, and slippery. Just a couple of salt would have solved the problem. Staff was corteous but totally unexperienced (trainees) and had to ask the manager for answers. Especially, I asked before checking in to have separate bills, at the end it turned out that was not possible. Very much disappointed.

Ottima posizione centrale ma nello stesso tempo in una strada secondaria molto tranquilla. Molto curato, belle stanze molto spaziose con grandi finestre luminose.superiore alle .aspettative.

Доброжелательный персонал, тихое место, но в то же время отель недалеко расположен от достопримечательностей города. Станция метро в 5 минутах ходьбы от отеля.

Персонал на рецепшен попросили нас расплатиться за номер перед поселением. Номер очень маленький, не соответствует изображению на фото, пыльный, один стул. Общее впечатление - негативное, хотели развернуться и уйти.
